COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create Ďbeer ritasí; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors.

Big boy can. Pours strawberry red with loads of bubbles and no head. Aroma is strawberry, salt, and fortunately not much Bud Light Lime. Flavor is strawberry, lime, alcohol and no Bud light, again a good thing. Light body and medium carbonation.

Can. Pours a hazy reddish color with a small fast disappearing white head. Has a fruity strawberry lime aroma with weak hints of tequila. Fruity sweetish strawberry flavor. Has a sweetish strawberry finish.

Tiny can, what is this - 8 oz? Actually a lot less offensive than the regular version, but the strawberry notes (albeit artificial in nature) donít make up for the strange qualities that this imparts - margarita notes - strange. Still pretty unappetizing. How hard is it to just make a margarita?

Can. Pours bright, strawberry red with hardly a trace of head. Aroma is strawberry margarita, salt, lime, and slight funk. Flavor is just what you would expect and its not good.

From a can. Pours neon clear red. Light body and low carbonation. Tastes like koolaid and not like beer. Sugary aroma.

(Can, graciously provided by Mora2000) I feel like 13 again... Pours a murky pink body with a spare white head. Aroma of artificial strawberry flavoring, corn syrup, and fruit punch. Flavor of corn syrup and strawberry Jolly Rancher candies. If you need a sugar rush, this may be for you.

My wife likes these better than the lime-a-ritas. Iím pretty indifferent on them as I ran out of booze late one night and snagged one out of the fridge. Might be decent on a hot summer day, then again, a Budweiser would be much better.

From the 25 fl. oz. can marked 14079-BK10. Red pour. Is this a beer or a Tropicana Twister? Quick eruption of white fizzy head. Gone in a flash. Strawberries and lime juice inhabit the aroma. No malt or hop character to speak of. The body is light and refreshing. OK, Iíll give it that. It is supposed to be that way. As for the taste...it is like drinking a wine cooler or an Ocean Spray fruit drink. I will say that the 8% ABV is definitely well-masked and will creep up on you with a vengeance. Otherwise I am prone to ask - "Why does this beer even exist?"
