4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Trying all of the Bud Lite Rita line up due to trying the margarita one a few days back. Haven’t rated that one yet but will be as soon as I am drinking another one. So anyways, this one is a strawberry pink with no head. That is to be expected if this was a drink made with juice and liquor so this is not a down side because it still is loaded with carbonation. The taste is spot on for a Margarita with strawberries. I am a huge margarita fan in the summer and make my own as well using traditional Taquila and a salt rimmed glass. The flavor from this is almost the exact same as that. There is a bit of salt flavor and a bit of Taquila like twang that make this the next best thing to the real thing. With the flavor about as good as it can probably get and the kick it packs in there makes this one my new summertime favorites.

Giant 25oz can thanks to Mr Chopin. What a jerk! Pours a bright pink with no head. Nose of jam and soda. Flavor is bad, nasty cheap strawberry soda. Tastes like bad decisions.

8 oz can. Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita pours a pinkish red, with fizzy white bubbles. Nose is strawberry frozen margarita. Taste is similar. think about the quality of margarita you get out of those slushy machines but in a wine cooler form, in a can. You’re about there. Have no illusions of this being great. It’s a stand in for a mixed drink, that is ten times easier to serve and drink. As long as your expectations are low, it’s passable.

Neon pink, no head and a rich fakey sweetness. Probably the poorest of the bunch, at least he lime one tasted fake-authentic. Similarly sweet to the others but a bit more frustaringly fake.
