COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create Ďbeer ritasí; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors.

Can @ home thanks to Jake. Fucken a! Reddish pour with a fleeting white head. Nose is lime, strawberry syrup, and sugar. A bit boozy, actually. Margarita mix and orange. The flavor is a bit too fake and boozy. Sweet sugar, strawberry syrup, lime juice, and more booze.

From 25 ounce can. Odd neon pink color. Aroma is fruit punch, with hints of artificial strawberry, salt, and lime. Taste is similar to aroma, with lots of fruit punch. Like the salt component, but has an odd artificial finish. Very strange to try to rate this as a beer. Not a horrible malt beverage, but a pretty bad beer.

Tiny can, what is this - 8 oz? Actually a lot less offensive than the regular version, but the strawberry notes (albeit artificial in nature) donít make up for the strange qualities that this imparts - margarita notes - strange. Still pretty unappetizing. How hard is it to just make a margarita?

Trying all of the Bud Lite Rita line up due to trying the margarita one a few days back. Havenít rated that one yet but will be as soon as I am drinking another one. So anyways, this one is a strawberry pink with no head. That is to be expected if this was a drink made with juice and liquor so this is not a down side because it still is loaded with carbonation. The taste is spot on for a Margarita with strawberries. I am a huge margarita fan in the summer and make my own as well using traditional Taquila and a salt rimmed glass. The flavor from this is almost the exact same as that. There is a bit of salt flavor and a bit of Taquila like twang that make this the next best thing to the real thing. With the flavor about as good as it can probably get and the kick it packs in there makes this one my new summertime favorites.

Whatís with all the hate on this one? Itís jam packed with intense strawberry flavor and more diabeetus than a dark lord vertical. Itís cheap, and easily available. You can get it in a tiny can, or a giant can. Itís a Rita. Whatís not to love?

On tap at Grantís Farm. This is a tough one to rate....especially the appearance. Aroma of sweet fruit and strawberry. Lime not perceptible. Pours a mostly clear fuchsia with no head. Taste is sugary sweet, puckeringly so. Like a fruit punch, the strawberry seems to overwhelm the "rita" aspects of the beer. Malt barely present. Could not drink it and it was a freebie. Just cloyingly sweet and nothing enjoyable, but it was not contaminated.

Can from american store. Appearance is hazy orange, rose, red. No head. Body is light. High sweetness. Aroma is strawberry, chewing gum, alcohol. Expected much worse!

Can, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a bright red and looks much like strawberry soda.

The aroma is most defiantly sweet with lots of lime and artificial strawberry. Itís not an unpleasant smell by a long shot.

The flavor is really actually fairly pleasant, I mean it tastes like a strawberry lime-aide soda... but like a pretty good version of that sort of soda. The alcohol is noticeable, but nowhere near the 8% range. Mild salty and beer like flavors are present but fairly muted and come out a little more as it warms.

One of my earliest memories as a kid was walking with my mom to the grocery store with a freshly skinned knee and a can of strawberry soda. The strawberry soda cheered me up. I was no older than 4 when this happened... close to, if not my daughters age.
Itís hard to shake something as hard wired as finding a rarely indulged in strawberry soda immeasurably pleasurable for close to 30 years. So this certainly does it for me as a beverage.

8 oz. can for $1 from Kroger. Pours a clear, bright, cartoonish pink color with no head. This one is the most artificial, and therefore worst, of the 5 Ritas. Strawberry candy, some lime, and not much else. Light-bodied, with a sweet, juicy mouthfeel. This is the one Iíd be least likely to have again.
