Bud Light Lime

I tried this beer after purchasing a singlke can from the ’singles’ bin at one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a generous white head that disappears quickly. The aroma is phenolic in nature and not appealing at all. The mouthfeel is weak bodied, flat, and lightly carbonated (odd considering the huge head). The flavour is flat, citrusy, and weakly malty. This is a pretty bad beer even by swill standards which makes it even more surprising that the masses love it so much.

bottled. also sell in 24 oz cans in a few stores around here. makes no differnce. piss yellow color, almost no head. flat taste with barely a hint of lime and does not taste like beer. more like pissed in, watered down tonic water. the low ABV makes the thought of consuming this tastless crap again unthinkable.

Pours pale yellow with minimal white head. Strong aromas and taste of artifical lime. Not much actual beer flavour is pulled through.

Eww. I might drink one if it’s free but then again I might not. Just when I thought Bud Light couldn’t get any worse, they come out with this stuff. Not a fan.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pale yellow with a small, foamy, white head. The head is gone in seconds and surprise, no lacing. Aroma: Think Bud Light with 100% unnatural lime aroma! I can’t get much other than the lime on this one. Flavor: Lime mixed with an off graininess and weird back bitterness. Blech! Give me something to rinse my mouth out with! Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a tart, unnatural, medium-long finish. Overall: Dreadful. Seriously. Don’t drink this. It only encourages them.

Thought I’d try this one for the hell of it, since it was in a friend’s fridge. Smell is all lime, which is probably a good thing, considering what it is. Taste is also very lime-like. Tastes like somewhat gross lime water. No beer taste, really. Like the last fruit beer I tried, it’s hard to think of it as a beer. Not even as good as Corona with lime.

Wow! Garbage beer. Tastes like 3 day old Tequiza and shoe polish. This is a funny lil brewski. No value at all in this beer tastes as if brewed in a lemonade stand.

Some lime aroma mixed with signature bud light smell. Light golden color with a small white head. Not as bad as I expected but I wasn’t expecting much.
