12oz bottle brought by me as a joke to our KW group tasting. So I was wandering through the LCBO, totally high on T3’s (had my wisdom teeth out), when I stumbled into a massive display of this crap. Not really knowing what to do, or what was going on, I just grabbed a single bottle, thinking it was the best thing to do. Well, I guess I still got a rating out of it, as did matt7215, but was it really worth it? Such awful synthetic lime flavouring with a rotten vegetable aftertaste? Really? Probably not, though I guess it’s just all about the ’experience’. Pfft. Fake and unneccessary.

Looks like straw, smells of laundry detergent, tastes like Perrier, only a bit less fizzy. Hint of lime is just barely strong enough to be unpleasant. Seems to be popular among people who don’t like beer. Spurn this brew and deride all who drink it.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 nulty (16) - USA - MAY 22, 2009
Bottled - I enjoyed this more than normal bud light. Strong lime flavor to it but for those who might like that it’s definitely spot on. Of course light straw colored. A refreshing beer. The lime just makes it like a nice corona with lime, except consistent lime taste throughout.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Savvy1982 (1320) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 22, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2009 Tried both from bottle, and out of a glass. Out of a glass the nose is soggy cardboard, perm solution, and a one-dimensional lime character. Palate is boring macro with little that can be discerned over the lime. Straight out of the bottle it is actually more pleasant, with no nose (natch), and the crisp lime bite being surprisingly pronounced. I can see its appeal to the masses, but even for a hot day, there are vastly better wheat beers or cervezas. Rating is for straight out of bottle, would be lower out of a glass.

From bottle, light straw color. Very acidic odor. Too limey tasting for me. It is not what a beer should taste like. It had almost an ice tea-like aftertaste. If you were very thirsty on a hot day, I suppose it might seem refreshing at first, but it just isn’t a real beer.

From bottle. I’m surprised I rated this so high. Very weak beer and not what a beer should be. Devoid of taste and any body. Yet I enjoyed it as it quenched a very dry throat.

Bottle from the LCBO- A pale yellow pour, with a fizzy and short lived white fizz. Nose is lime-aid like, a bit floral, pale malts. Just really limey. Tastes stale, of cardboard, corn, some sweet artificial lime, with a strange acrid bitterness left in the mouth. Has a lingering taste of artificial lime and straw. Not good at all.
