well, it does seem to have a genuine enough lime flavor to it. but where is the beer! if you have to drink this seems you might as well just give up on the whole damn concept of drinking beer. but hey the other half gotta live their lives as well.

Bottle: I’ve been trying a lot of macros lately, to go back to beers that I have not ever really rated. This is even worse than I remember. It falls into the category of beers that I don’t really consider beers. It’s too limey, which I guess is the point.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 degbert (641) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Can. I should know better. Looks pretty at least, with a clear gold color and white head. Nose is intensely and artificially lime; it smells like room-temperature 7-UP. It’s not actually too bad, though -- the corn and metal extremes are kept to a minimum by the lime, and it finishes clean and crisp. If all I have available is BMC, I’m going to look for this.

Pretty weak beer all around. More refreshing than Miller Chill, perhaps not quite as offensive.

Bottle. Had on a hot day looking for something ice cold from an outside cooler. I was overwhelmed by the chemical taste from this... didn’t hit refreshing... would much rather prefer a straight version of this and add a lime... not worth the trouble.

Mostly flavorless rice beer. The redeeming value which raises it above other rice beers is the twist of lime. Due to cost and subtle flavor, it is a good party beer but not good in terms of greatness of all beer
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 northropfrye (653) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle. Clear and a little refreshing. Lime, obviously. Nothing special or interesting.

Poured from a 12 ounce clear glass bottle into a chalice.
Appearance: Pours a clear pale straw yellow with a 1 finger foamy snow white head. Surprisingly decent lacing.
Smell: Lime juice. That’s all you can smell. Reminds me of the aroma I would get when I used to squeeze a lime into a Corona. Not a good thing.
Taste: Lime juice dominates throughout. There are elements of cheap adjunct lager underneath, but the only thing I’m thinking is lime. I must say, it tastes a little better than what I remember Corona and lime tasting like. Yes, it’s an improvement, but it’s still not any good. On a positive note, the lime does taste natural and not artificial so I’ll give them a few points for that.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied with a high amount of prickly carbonation. Doesn’t feel too watery for a light beer. Goes down smooth.
Drinkability: Decent drinkability. If you like lime, you should have no problem pounding several of these. I’m not a huge lime fan, but I could see myself drinking a few on a hot camping or beach trip.
Overall: For what it is, it’s not bad; however, I’m rating it as a Light Lager and as a Light Lager it falls way short. You don’t really get any "beer" flavors as it’s totally overpowered by lime juice. The lime juice tastes natural, but I’m not looking for my beer to taste like limes. I always say, if you need a lime to cover up the taste of your beer, you should be drinking a different beer. I would avoid this one.
