Originally rated September 2008. Wow ! Showing how society is getting wimpier and wimpier. Is it so hard to cut the lime and put it in a Corona, if that is your thing ? Well, nonetheless, glad my band mates brought me this one from their trip to Hawaii (thanks Pete and Christina). It does list on the front label that it is made with 100% natural lime flavour, and you can definitely smell it once it is poured. Quite a nice nose I must say. Its colour is pale gold-yellow and the head is big enough, white, has decent retention for a swill and carbonation is consistent. The rest is what it is suppose to be. Easy drinkability, thirst quenching, smooth, well-balanced taste of lime mixed in with the light malt, hardly any aftertaste and very refreshing for those places in the sun. Pretty nice for what it is... and for those who do not like the pulp of lime in their beer.

Sweet lime aroma and flavor. Pretty much a fizzy beer look-a-like lime drink.

Bottle. Clear, straw-colored, fizzy, small white head becomes a ring, no lace. Aroma of...lime and corn and corn syrup. Light palate, soda-like carbonation, a little wet on the finish. Flavor is like lime in beer, but beer with less flavor than the typical counterpart. H’m...it’s similar to the unsweetened calistoga sparkling waters, but this one is a touch sweetened and lime flavored, and mildly alcoholic. Over time I think it’s starting to burn my throat.

Industrial lager with (too much) lime. Probably better if you bought straight
Bud Light and squeezed your own fresh lime juice into it (and not so much).

Fruity aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity lime flavour with a dry lasting finish.

I like this beer. I think some people rate it low because it is made by Anheuser-Busch. I really like the added lime taste I think it is an improved version of Bud light.

Tried this for the hell of it, one small sip, and it was awful, think 1/4 corn juice, 3/4 perrier lime.
