UPDATED: MAY 12, 2008 Yellow pour with a fizzy soda-like head that is gone quickly. Lime is the main smell, with some hints of sweet grain. Lime is also the main flavor. I rate this higher than regular BL, simply because it does have SOME flavor, even if that flavor is lime.

12 oz. bottle. Pours yellow, with a white tiny fizzy head which diminished immediately. Had a light doughy smell, with the obvious lime-flavored aroma. Taste was actually not bad, like a good corona with a lime. Had a somewhat salty finish. It was pretty fizzy on the palate, too much carbonation. Not great, but drinkable.

12 oz. clear bottle. Smeared born on date. Poured out the typical piss yellow color, with a green tint to it. Not much head. Aromas are of lime juice, lime rind, cheap adjuncts. Flavors are of watered down limeade, corn, rice. Medium body & mouthfeel. Strangely refreshing after working in the yard all day long. It is what it is.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2008 #400. Poured the expected clear golden color with nicely formed, two-finger white head. The head was fizzy, produced no lacing and was gone in a flash. The aroma was lime followed by the standard corny sweetness associated with most BMC pale lagers. The flavor was a lime flavored pale lager. The mouthfeel was tight and dry. Not the worst thing I’ve ever had.

Pours a straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma is lemon lime, almost like sprite. Flavor is some bud light poking through the overpowering lime. Kind of like a semi flat sprite.

Pours a very light yellow with a small 1/16 inch head, with average lacing. Below average carbonation with a strong sweet smell of lemons. Tastes like carbonated lemons with almost no alcohol taste. This is awful and tastes like Lemon Pledge. It would make a better cleaning product than a malt beverage.

Not need to waste a glass pouring this since bottle is clear. Smells like a dirty sock with lime febreeze or something. Taste not much more than an artificially flavored lime water. After a long day of outdoor work in mid 80 heat like today it is not the worst thing in the world. However, I probably won’t be buying this too often.

Big thanks to Capone’s for holding this for me, as it has a waiting list. Poured clear light gold with minimal head that faded and never reappeared. Smelled of lime juice. Tastes a bit limey, but in the sense of a gallon pitcher of margaritas that sat around for the last dregs and sucked up all the ice which diluted it to the point of being a margarita drain pour. I happily poured the last six ounces of this to free up a Harpoon cider, which leads me to my next rating tonight..................

#%#$% you badgerben. Err, I mean thank you for sharing. Cloying lime aroma on this pale yellow beer. Tastes like lime and lysol in a metal can.

Consumed from the Pilsener Glass of Low Expectations. Fresh lime aroma. Bad clear bottle and label, yellow beer. Underbittered. Plain and bland, but drinkable. Loses carbonation really quickly. Thin bodied. The lime flavor gets a bit artificial tasting sometimes. This isn’t a work of art, but will it move a whole lot of units on barbeque holidays? Surely.
