0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2012 Straight from chilled 12 oz bottle at home. Ice cold at time of serving.
Aroma: Skunky, barnyard hay smell with overpowering artificial lime.
Appearance: Pale as hell. Nothing much to see
Taste: The artificial limey favor is overpowering, and the brew itself is not great. Skunky with a corny aftertaste. Very light. Not terrible but quite below average, as to be expected with a mass produced beer.
Palate: Very disappointing composition made it difficult to down. Although the body was surprisingly frothy, the beer itself was quite carbonated. Fizzy. Very sticky texture. Somewhat sweet lime taste is followed by the skunky blast and slightly metallic finish. Bitter aftertaste.
Notes: One of the better macros but still falls short of average. Limey and skunky are what I would use to describe this one. I didn’t exactly despise this beer but American macros are still far from the standard when it comes to a good brew. Corona is a better choice in my opinion. Still, nice to have on a hot day at the beach or with tortilla chips and salsa. This beer seems to be very popular, with everyone in their brother seems to drink it.

Refreshing beer, very light and sweet easy to drink. Not a beer to be praised but to be enjoyed on a hot summer day.

what can I say?... its Bud Light with a little lime taste. Not a very pronounced lime taste as I expected it to be... smooth and drinkable. wouldn’t be my first choice, but would do nicely on a hot summer day in the back yard

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Usually I can easily dismiss these macro conjurings , but today I will openly admit that I like this one. Yes its prototypical cat piss; rice paper, corn, metal, and cardboard. However, it’s fake lime flavouring is interestingly snappy and the whole offering is quite crisp and refreshing poolside or by the lake. And there’s something that I can’t quite put my finger on r either. It’s certainly not the price, but hey, I digress. There, I’m not such a rigid, obtuse beer snob afterall.

The first thing the hit me was an awful smell. It had the faint whiff of lime, beer, and sewer. The taste was a horrendous combination which the fake lime only hurt.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. Clear, straw color. Aroma is a hint of fake lime flavoring. Flavor is barely there. Corn and rice with a mixing of fake lime flavoring. Watery mouthfeel, acidic, wet paper. Makes you thirstier. I can’t believe I used to drink this stuff by the gallon. I’m officially a beer snob...

While Anheuser Bush makes the classic Budweiser and Bud light, Here the brewery attempts to make a Corona extra hype type experience at a cheaper price. The idea of cutting a lime wedge with a Corona extra with Bud. Simply put it does not work unless your having D/T’ tremors and any alcohol would stop the shaking.
Aroma: cheap, alcoholic ,metallic despite in a bottle, with lime on top.
Appearance: pours clear and consistent so a (2)
Taste: Bud light with lime added as advertised not much else.
Overall: Why did Anheuser Bush waste their time on this then develop Lime a Rita as a second try? Burp there comes that acidity, metal and strange feeling I could beat the Alien creature from "aliens" in a metal melting contest if I puked this up.
Watery with Budweiser already falling to an average 55-60 rating these days ,Anhueser Bush has veered far from their natural carbonation an beech wood aging with this offering barely above swill.
A drain pour and tums experience to be avoided

This beer is very light, so much so that defining its flavor is hard. its like a less flavorful corona. like I said very little beer flavor. mixed with lime it is excellent and is very easy to drink. this would be a great one, maybe the best one, for people sensitive to bitter hops.
