Can. I should know better. Looks pretty at least, with a clear gold color and white head. Nose is intensely and artificially lime; it smells like room-temperature 7-UP. It’s not actually too bad, though -- the corn and metal extremes are kept to a minimum by the lime, and it finishes clean and crisp. If all I have available is BMC, I’m going to look for this.

This beer is a bit underrated. Sometimes you want a lighter beer with a Mexican dinner - this beer could be it. Of course, it’s always better with fresh lime instead of the pre-fab lime.

12 oz bottle from Beaumont Market in Portland, OR--Poured a clear bubbly straw body with a blanketing white head. Nose of a limed brew. Saccharine, mellow lime body with a residual clean biscuit finish. Not as bad as most of these uppity beer snobs here would have you believe, but nothing grandiose, either.

I follow the site’s hedonistic guidelines to the letter. I don’t think it’s very good as a beer, but it’s perfectly acceptable as a beer like beverage that will get you drunk. Sweet and sour, slightly reminiscent of Squirt. I’d drink this before a lot of "real" beers I’ve had.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2009 Another attempt at ripping off the Corona fad. Not the worst beer. Nothing more to say other than a bud light with some lime juice. But I dont think they were aiming at much more than that. Overall, its an ok beer and I have had a few of them. I grew up on Bud Light and will always stick around with them. A little lime didnt hurt them at all. Very refreshing. Try adding a garden fresh jalapeno pepper directly in the bottle to spice it up. Goes good with brats.

Pours light clear yellow with no lasting head. Smell is artificial lime and malt. Taste is corn like malt with a good dose of bottled lime juice and very light bitterness. Pretty drinkable. Not a really natural flavor, but not too over the top either. Thinnish body with soft to medium carbonation. I could drink a few of these on a hot day without much trouble, and if that’s what you’re going for, why not...

A great light beer, probably my favorite, just a little over priced. Great beer for hot summer days or if your just wanting a light beer. Good for float trips or hanging out around a lake.

Bud Light Lime has a medium, white head and a clear, pale-golden appearance, with some streaming bubbles. The aroma is of lime juice and maybe some faint grains. The taste is of lime juice, tap water, and slight grains can be picked up. No hops. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Bud Light Lime finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and dry. Overall, this is an okay light beer, and I rate it average plus. RJT

With an obvious lime taste, it still has the typical budweiser, mass-produced taste to it...yet the micro-brew cost. However, the flavor does last a little longer than bud’s macrobrews.

Bomber. Smells of lime, cheap adjunct grains. Reminds me of a trip to Mexico I took when I was 19. Looks terrible--no head, no lacing--looks flat. Tastes like swill with lime and salt added. Low carbonation. Finishes sweet, a little salty.
