Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula thatís triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

22 oz bottle poured a clear light golden color with a thin cap of white head that immediately fell away. Aroma has corn, some grains, and sweetness. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation plenty high. Flavor is quite watery, light malt, grain, corn, and sweetness on the finish. I guess it is done in bud light style but pumping up the alcohol did this no favors other than the buzz factor.

American bottle. Crystal clear, basically no head, gold colour. Chemical smell, sugary sweet aroma. Very sweet taste, apple juice, alcohol. Kept the light body of light beer, but has an alcohol burn and sugar sweetness. Overall, alcohol delivery system.

Can from a sketchy gas station. Pours sickly yellow with no head and lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma of cheap malts and old man sweat. Taste of Bud Light but with a more sugary aftertaste.

I honestly canít taste the difference between this and Bud Light. Love the claim of "top shelf taste." Thatís adorable.

Pale yellow with a small and quickly dissipating white head, no lace. Corn, straw, big bubbly carbonation. Bit more flavor than the "standard bearer" Bud Light. But more of a bad thing is a worse thing.

Very light golden pour. Super clear. A very vigorous pour yields a finger and a half of snow white head that quickly slim down to a thin ring and light dusting. Thereís actually a vague hop aroma in the nose with a chalky cereal grain thing underneath and nothing else. Pretty sweet on the palate with no real flavour profile besides this sugar water vibe. This comes off more like a light cooler than a beer. Weird.

Interesting rendition of light beer. Has a better/stronger pilsner taste than regular budweiser. A great tasting pilsner. Would go down really nicely on a hot summer day.

Pours a very thin straw colour, and has an aroma reminiscent of metal shavings mixed with water. Tasting notes include a little bit of rice, corn, grains, mixed with battery acid. A horribly macro brew designed to get you drunk.

Not bad for getting lit up, but as far as an after work relaxation brew, Iím all set. Better than any of the ice beers on the market, so its not without some merit.
