1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, 22oz. A clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, dense, white head soon collapsing. The aroma is rather grainy, some fruity notes blends in, but overall it’s rather boring and uninteresting. The flavor goes the same path, some grains and fruityness, with a little hint of bitterness added for good measure. Slighlty warming on the palate, quite hard carbonation, even though it’s not very much of it. Short finish. Definitely not my favorite. 130804

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Rating #4925)

Its better than bud light, higher alcohol content. Would drink again, not by choice though.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Serving: Cool 12 oz. blue bottle at a local bar. It pours a straw gold with a small white head. The nose smells of sweet corn and not much else. Instead of a strong bud light, it seems more like an alcohol heavy version of Budweiser. A touch of grain and corn sweetness with a heavy alcohol influence. Thankfully the finish is relatively short. I can’t understand how this appeals even to Bud Light drinkers. If I want malt liquor, I’m headed for the Schlitz or Hurricane.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle, poured straw colored with a fizzy white head. Typical american big brand lager smell (hint of malt) and a little alcohol. Tastes a bit like bud lite with more alcohol which I guess is the point. Would never buy this on purpose.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This is hands down the worst beer i have ever tasted. The super strong alcoholic overtones overpower the weak flavors of this brew.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Platinum pours a light yellow clear liquid with a fizzy white head of big bubbles. nose is malty and moderately of adjuncts. Taste is reminiscent of bud and bud light but with a heavier sweeter overtone like a malt liquor product. Not good, but not awful. Be interesting to try this and other bud products side by side, because I am not sure they’d be easily distinguishable from each other.

Blue 12 oz bottle given to me by a coworker after work. Pours a clear light gold color with a fizzy white head the faded and leaves no lacing. Smells of corn , sweet malt, and light hops. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with a cereal like sweetness. Mouthfeel is thin, surupy, and watery. I didn’t really expect much from this beer had it before when it first came out a few years back.
