COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

weird puple blue bottle. if this tasted like bud light i might have enjoyed it. super fizzy front and very weird sugar aftertaste followed by some hot alcohol. I guess this isn’t supposed to taste good, just taste ok enough to swallow and get you messed up. i had some hope for this beer, not sure how i figured anything good would come of it. weird drinking stuff. well... off to school

Blue bottle, pours like a bud light. Aroma is sweet and sugary. Flavor is sweet, grainy malt, less harsh than its little brother.

Pours a very pale clear yellow with a decent white head that is gone in 60 seconds. Aroma is corn grits and a metallic characteristic. Taste is saccharin sweetness along with the odd nuances of a malt liquor. Why the f**k did I buy this??

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 Bottle. Pours yellow with fizzy white head. Virtually no aroma to speak of. Flavor is like an extremely watered down cheap sake with light hop presence, faint hint of alcohol, slightly sweet. Light-medium mouthfeel with very high carbonation. Almost hard to rate given that it is so neutral in flavor, so what do ya do?

12 oz cobalt blue bottle. Appearance is no different than Bud Light--clear, piss yellow hue, small disappearing white head. Aroma is corny, metallic, grainy. Taste is sweet--quite a bit sweeter than regular Bud Light--with a little dryness coming up in the finish. Body is paper-thin, carbonation is quite a bit lower than most macros. An improvement over regular old Bud Light, but this is still pretty pathetic. What are they trying to do, make Bud Light drinkers get drunker on their product due to the higher alcohol content, tricking them into thinking this is actually good?

Appearance is as expected. Light yellowish color, some head which dissipates quickly. Fierce bubbling. Aroma is sweet corn with some metallic essence... maybe some paper too. Taste is very light and quite honestly, not bad. There’s a vegetable, papery weirdness in the taste but otherwise OK. 6%, low on cals, drinkable.

From bottle. Poured a pale yellow with soapy head. Minimal odor but what I could smell wasn’t pleasant. Tastes better than Bud Light, is less metallic. Will choose this over Bud Light.

12 oz Bottle.
Clear pale yellow, with a fizzy, rapidly dissipating head, and no lace. Aroma is wet grains, sweet dough, spicy hops.
Flavor is sweet, with a little metallic bite. Mild dry hoppy finish.
Sweetness builds as it warms, but there is just enough hops to keep it from becoming cloying.
Not great, but it has more flavor than regular bud light,

Bottle. Bale gold yellow color. Fizzy looking. Tyasyte comes off sWeet and slightly boozy even though its not. Does out to nothing but better then a tegular bud light

Pours a very clear golden color with a 2 inch head. The head settles quickly but the abundant carbonation holds a respectable white ring on top. The aroma is crisp and mostly cleanwith some hoppiness and adjunct grain. The flavor is remarkably smooth with a great balance of hops and malt. It does come out a little on the sweet side. Malty sweetness followed by bitter hoppiness. The finish lingers with a bit of a sweet aftertaste. Its definitely an improvement over bud light but too sweet to drink more than one. Drink it fast because it gets even sweeter as it warms. Sugar dumbasses. Now what do I do with the rest of this 6pk?
