Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula thatís triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Slightly more corn flakes in this than regular bud light. Still really watery, offensive and disgusting though.

This is a sweeter stronger version of Bud Light. Something about this beer didnít sit well with me. Gave me a wicked headache after drinking just one. A beer I will stay away from in the future.

Tasted on 1-20-12 in blue bottle, before it was out on the market. It is what I expected, wimpy nose, pale color, plain taste which I actually prefer over regular BL. A little more substance to it than BL and 6% is a plus, especially with 120 some calories it claims on the back of the bottle... somehow I dont buy it, but still nothing I would go out and purchase.

Bud Light Platnium has made an appearance at the bar. Before the Super Bowl hype cracked a blue bottle and shared with a few beer drinkers. Corn, slight fizzle, yellow body, off flavored sweetness. Unanimously panned by the four taste testers. A brand that A-B will more than likely abandon in 12 months.

The aroma is slightly malty with lighter fluid added alcohol and adjuncts. The appearance is pale gold with a fizzy forced carbonated type head. The taste is like the aroma and typical of the style. The palate is thin. Overall this is not much different than the regular with a tad of added alcohol and watery for the most part.

typical of the style, clear and lightly tan, Iím giving it a staight up average rating. I was expecting crap, but it wasnít that bad at all. Grainy and sweet, but with a slightly dry finish. Good enough for my expecting terrible. Better than typical for the brewery, thatís for sure.

Well...itís not bad, for bud light that is. Some how they actually squeezed a slight flavor palate in there. Donít get me wrong itís still very bland, but maybe a step in a better direction for bud.

12 ounce blue bottle. Pours a pale golden yellow with a thin, white head that lasts. Taste is of wheat, banana, grass, rice and some citrus. Rather clean aroma, with some citrus and grass notes. The body is soft and light, but not overly watery. Reminds me more of Budweiser than Bud Light, which might be why I like it. Easy to drink and well worth picking up again.
