COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula thatís triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Pours a light golden color. Lacks a clean, crisp taste, but instead has a flat, slightly sweet aftertaste. At least it has more body than Bud Light.

Ok, so this is the latest and greatest thing to come from the Belgians? I kid. It smells weakly of lemony corn. Crystal clear yellow thin snow white head. cane sugar flavor with a lesser lemony tang, little malt or even cereal grain quality. Certainly no hops. Diluted overly sweet lemonade. Created for people who want a cheap drunk but donít like the flavor of beer. Bitch, please.

Interesting brew. Who exactly is this aimed at? The 6.0% alcohol content does the trick. Making this a session beer would not work unless you want to be totally drunk. Flavor is light-malt-liquor. Sweeter than regular bud light. No head, like bud light. Superior carbonation. Makes you think you can session this, but I am not fooled. Good "light" beer to enjoy two or three, but thatís it for me.

I bought a 6pk of this from Woodmanís in Janesville, WI for $6.39 in early 2012. Pours a very pale yellow color almost like it is a glass of tainted water. A slight head but it disappears quickly. Not too strong of a scent, mostly just hints of cheap earthy grains. The taste isnít too bad. It has a sweet, easy, drinkable texture. Only a slight reminisce of beer in the after taste. Definitely would take this over a Bud Light or MGD 64.

From a bottle stamped 12015BK83. It poured a typical pale yellow with a short burst of white, fizzy head. The aroma did have a combination of malts, grains, sugras, and a hint of hops. The body was of medium weight and was creamy in texture. The taste was also grainy but it ended crisp and clean. There was something kind of citrus-like in there that I could not quite define.

Pours a pale yellow with a fizzy head that quickly disappears. Aroma of apples, grass, and corn flakes. Taste is sweet with a malty apple flavor. Very light and easy to drink. Not a clean refreshing beverage. Iíd rather drink Bud as this is too sweet for me.

12oz bottle from Pickís poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with minimal white head. Aroma of wet corn, skunk and metal. Taste is light sweet. Corn, metal and sweet grains. Minimal hop bitterness. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, Iíve had worse. I would drink this over regular Bud Light, but I donít think the general BMC populace will like it. The blue bottle is pretty cool looking though.

Light to no aroma. Poured clear and straw yellow. Letís get right to it, the 6% alcohol. This tastes excatly how you think it would, a bud light with more heat from the additional alcohol. Overall not terrible, but ill stick with craft beer.
