COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Like the cobalt blue bottle, should blow up nice when shot in the sun. This is a good drinking beer for the swill drinkers like me...not bad at all.

12 ounce single bottle from a six-pack purchased at Winn-Dixie in Jacksonville, Florida. Beer was poured into a beer mug. Pours a platinum blonde color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is heavy corn and that’s all. Lightly carbonated. Taste is smooth, has a subtle sweetness that is masked by the very familiar Bud Light skunkiness. Good for drinking after hard work when you need a cold one, but not much else. Drink it for the cheap buzz, otherwise avoid it.

This is my favorite beer of all time - reminds of Swiss Lowenbrau when it was available. So smooth and silky. Yum.

Can from the local 7/11. Pours who gives a fuck cuz I drank right out of the cool can. Big wet grain nose, mild Metallica. Heavy metal reigns supreme in the mouth with mild tin. Sweet wet sloppy grains dominate however. Medium body, enough boost to put a smile on me face .

355 ml aluminum bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a very thin , short lived, white head. Aroma of malt, fruit and corn. Sweet fruity flavour with malt, corn and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation.

If you buy this all I can say is you must watch a lot of commercials. No aroma. No flavor. A disgrace to beverages.

Tasted on 7/15/14 from an aluminum bottle purchased at the local Kroger. Pours clear golden with a thin white head that quickly nearly disappears, leaving very thin lace. The nose is sugary sweet corn malt. The flavor is the same with maybe just a touch of green hops. The body is medium with lively, fizzy carbonation, and a short sweet corn finish.

Bottle from the Zombie bar. A light malt liquor, interesting. It’s not offensive. Any hops or bitterness are undetectable. Lingering adjunct aftertaste. Fine for what it is.

Nice bottle ... Bad aroma , bad appearance, empty watery taste. Water, malt and nothing about taste.

Doing some shameless macro-bashing in this review. To begin, this label embraces artificiality and industrial manufacturing even in its advertising campaign, stressing how it is specially processed to give as light a beer with as much alcohol as possible. The blue bottle, though aesthetically appealing, again projects an industrial image. Actual beer appearance is unattractive no matter how you look at it, a pale yellow clear watery color with some chemical lacing and bubbles. Smell is adjunct sweetness. Taste is exceedingly sweet, some fruity/ sweet straw flavors. Struck me as rather cringe-worthy. Very watery mouthfeel, thought that came to mind was "corn-water." Finish tries to be bitter but ends up an odd sour aftertaste. Not a clean finish at all. I can't tell whether this is better or worse than standard bud light.

My buddy Al from RI loves this beer! Wawaloam Campground will never be the same because as quick as it goes in, it comes out.
