Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula thatís triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2012 For some strange reason, Iíve been intrigued by this beer. I couldnít understand why it existed, nor was Bud eager to tell me. It took finding it in a friends fridge to try it. Honestly, itís been a while since Iíve had a Bud Light, but this does seem superior. Slightly richer corn malt flavor with that same watery taste and crisp flavorless finish. The alcohol is well hidden for a macro of this quality. Really not much here, though you could easily do worse in the cheap light macro category.

Pours smells looks and tastes like bud light to me. Not any better than any other bud offering. While itís alcohol, itís crap for beer... Cheers!

Bottle at Papa Booís. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, circus peanuts and not much else. Malty flavor with marshmallow and some noble hop.

12 ounce single bottle from a six-pack purchased at Winn-Dixie in Jacksonville, Florida. Beer was poured into a beer mug. Pours a platinum blonde color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is heavy corn and thatís all. Lightly carbonated. Taste is smooth, has a subtle sweetness that is masked by the very familiar Bud Light skunkiness. Good for drinking after hard work when you need a cold one, but not much else. Drink it for the cheap buzz, otherwise avoid it.

This is my favorite beer of all time - reminds of Swiss Lowenbrau when it was available. So smooth and silky. Yum.

Can from the local 7/11. Pours who gives a fuck cuz I drank right out of the cool can. Big wet grain nose, mild Metallica. Heavy metal reigns supreme in the mouth with mild tin. Sweet wet sloppy grains dominate however. Medium body, enough boost to put a smile on me face .

355 ml aluminum bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a very thin , short lived, white head. Aroma of malt, fruit and corn. Sweet fruity flavour with malt, corn and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation.

If you buy this all I can say is you must watch a lot of commercials. No aroma. No flavor. A disgrace to beverages.

Tasted on 7/15/14 from an aluminum bottle purchased at the local Kroger. Pours clear golden with a thin white head that quickly nearly disappears, leaving very thin lace. The nose is sugary sweet corn malt. The flavor is the same with maybe just a touch of green hops. The body is medium with lively, fizzy carbonation, and a short sweet corn finish.

Bottle from the Zombie bar. A light malt liquor, interesting. Itís not offensive. Any hops or bitterness are undetectable. Lingering adjunct aftertaste. Fine for what it is.
