COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Appearance is as expected. Light yellowish color, some head which dissipates quickly. Fierce bubbling. Aroma is sweet corn with some metallic essence... maybe some paper too. Taste is very light and quite honestly, not bad. There’s a vegetable, papery weirdness in the taste but otherwise OK. 6%, low on cals, drinkable.

Pale straw-yellow body, crystal clear with a bone-white "head" that fizzles away quicker than my checking account after BCBS is released each year. Grains on the nose, grains on the nose, smellin’ like a BUD with yo’ grains on the nose. Grainy, corny, and full of metallic tones, this stuff is not a pleasure to smell, and it only gets more pungent as it warms.Drink it ice cold, so you numb your taste buds from the poorly laid out grains and sweet, corn-like malts. More metallic in the taste, this stuff couldn’t be any more "meh". No alcohol taste present (6% ABV woo!) Crisp, lighter-than-light mouth feel.

I was expecting WAY better beer for something called platinum. it had a bit of a metal taste to it.

looks like Bud, smells like Bud, tastes like poorly-made ginger ale. overly-carbonated with strong sugar and ginger. On the plus side, I don’t notice the elevated alcohol. Still, hard to drink something this bad.

For 6.0% abv and being mass-produced, this is actually not too bad. It’s light, so there is no complexity, but it is not that unpleasant.

I’m always a sucker for a new mass-produced "beer" product and how could I resist one of these cool-looking bottles down at the LC, eh? First of all I was extremely disappointed it wasn’t a twist-off, at least I could get to this liquid easily; not so! Has some head which is better than none, and that ugly yellow corn-colour that all bud products have with heavy carbonation. Aroma is all corn and sugar with fusel hints. Flavour is corn adjuncts with a hint of fake bread on the end. Sweet aftertaste with modestly dry finish notes. Better than expected for what it is, but still definitely not any good.

Blue bomber. Only in America would they manufacture a light beer with a high ABV. Pale straw color, minute fizzy head lasts. Thin industrial swill flavored water, faint discernible sweet maltiness, no hops detected. Average carbonation, light bodied, no hopped. Grain alcohol infused Bud Lightning. The six packs of cool aluminum bottles are apparently quite popular with the younger crowd. LGH (Let's Get Hosed) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2013-05-11. Crisp pale yellow body, small white head. Mild fruity industrial pale malt aroma. Flavour is fruity, sort of cidery notes? Average to light bodied palate, modest carbonation. Shockingly innoffensive. Pleasantly cold in an aluminum bottle served from a horse trough style beer bin. Bottle at Heart And Crown?, Ottawa

Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow color with white head. Crisp, hay aroma. Clean, straw, yet almost non existent flavor. Pretty bad.

Light yellow with a white head. Aroma is full of grain. Flavor is watery grain with some rice. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Yuck.
