COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

Appearance: Clear yellow straw under a fizzy white head which quickly retreats into a thin bubbly collar. Swirls bubbly but nothing special.
Nose: Powdered sugar abounds, especially powdered sugar coated lemon jelly candies. Sweet wetness. Wet straw and Wonderbread.
Palate: Sweet watery beer-like liquid with a medium-light weight and viscous mouthfeel. Wonderbread and confectioners’ sugar. Fizzy tingles on top of tongue.
Final Thoughts: Meh. Nothing special in this newest addition to Anheuser-Busch InBev portfolio that ultimately isn’t that high in alcohol in comparison to quality craft brewed beers with beefy ABV and far more enjoyable. Blech.

Virtually zero aroma. Clear, pale gold, fizzy without any head. Sparkling even. Tastes artificial, not necessarily alcoholic but like a diet soda. Slightly sweet, hint of a bitter aftertaste. Odd brew for a very specific audience. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[6215-20140307] Tin bottle. Light apple straw aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. More apple and toasted straw in the flavour with a touch of sweet grass. Light body seems very fluffy. Not bad. (4/3/4/2/7) 2.0

So malt liquor was my least rated style and so in my quest for 10 of each I will occasionally mix in these horrible things as opposed to saving to the end. Pours dull pale yellow with white head that fades quickly. Nose is cardboard and grain and off fruit. Tastes of old honey dew, grainy, corn, cardboard. Ugly aftertaste. Bad times

12oz. Props for the cool bottle. Grainy yellow with high boost creamed corn. Flabby and sweet. Medium boost. Seems they sacrificed boost for... Oh no wait a minute. Bud light doesn’t have any flavor. This sucks.

Rated base on notes taken 2 Jul 2012 -- Surprising flavor at first. But then I get that they just threw more sugar at this beer to up the ABV and that’s about it. Almost cloyingly sweet.

Unsure what this is supposed to be but beer it is not. Artificial sweet apple flavor dominates. Interestingly, the word beer does not appear anywhere on the packaging. Another one for the sink.

"Cool lookin bottle, I’ll give it that! Actually, it’s not nearly as offensive as I thought it had the potential to be. That’s faint praise, but still. Some sweetish malts (though suspiciously corn-like), and faint hops detectable. Low level skunk. Pretty generic, but not too too bad :)"

Gift from the neighbors who work at the brewery. Pours pale straw yellow with a rapidly diminishing medium white head. Light biscuit, caramel, beech, and mineral aroma. Thin body, smooth. Fairly sweet, a little citrusy, barely-there bitter finish. Worth every cent I paid for it.
