COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

(Revised from 2007 rating.) Pours a pale, clear gold with lots of visible carbonation and a white head. Pale malts, grass, some sugary sweetness, maybe a little hay. Not much to it. Straightforward light American lager. Andnot a badly constructed one at that. It isn’t interesting, but it isn’t one of the worst beers around.

2700th, the shit we do for ticks. 330ml bottle at 3.8%. Pours gold with a thin head. Aroma is light corn and lemon. Taste has straw and co2. Bland.

Now that Belgian-Brazilian conglomerate InBev bought Anheuser-Busch, it is a violation of the Buy America Act to serve this beer at the White House. Sorry Mr. President.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with frothy white head. Malty aroma, Quite grainy too. The taste is watery and rather sweet. No bitterness to speak of, no aftertaste. Drinkable when ice cold, as a refreshment. Nothing special.

An average beer in my opinion. Great for drinking on a hot day or after a good exercise but other than that, I wouldn’t recommend drinking it.

Bud Light. If you could please give me any other sort of light fixture instead I will gladly take it. Rice, rice baby.

The only flavors in Bud Light only appear once the beer warms, and you don’t want to go there. It works only as an alcohol delivery vehicle. If I want to drink beer, but actually hate beer, I could gulp down this stuff ice cold. That’s all I’ve got though. And I, along with most others, have had plenty of cans of BL. I guess one good thing about the beer is that once one graduates to real/good beer, the change is mind blowing. Discovering a great pale ale after years of this would probably (definitely) be the biggest upgrade in a beer drinker’s life.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2014 No flavors but a watery, sour aftertaste reminiscent of a wet, moldy rag. Quite possibly the worst beer in the world.

Tasted on 7/15/14 from a 12oz can. Pours clear, very pale golden with an average white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is a touch of sugary corn with the faintest hint of grass hops, but nothing else really. The flavor is a bit of cornbread (dry without any butter), but that’s it. The body is light with lively, fizzy carbonation and a very short same cornbread finish.
