COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2006 Rerate On tap at a Florida State basketball game...Sad that this is what most of America thinks of as beer. Nothing in it resembles anything similar to a beverage brewed from malt, hops, yeast and water. I taste nothing but pasteurized chemicals and it feels very srtifical. Aroma - chemicals. Looks like a beer though. Original 1.7 Hey - they’ve got good commercials!

I would like to make a formal apology on behalf of my country for making this beer and selling it to the rest of the world. This is absolute crap.

I’d rather drink Lysol.

If you can call this beer, then you should be shot. However, when drunk in large quantities, it will mess you right up.

Yuck, yuck, yuck. Only drink this if it’s the only thing available, such as at the ballpark, and you want to get drunk.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2005 Um, waiter! Yeah, you over there. Hey, if I wanted fizzy yellow-colored corn-rice flavoring added to my water, I would have asked for it! Just for that, no tip for you. (Surprisingly drinkable for a hot summer day, though.)

Not too bad for a light beer. Wouldn’t drink it nowadays though.

I always wondered why people bothered to drink ’light beers’ when they could drink two-thirds of a ’real’ beer and save the calories and at least savor some flavor. The irony of Bud Light is that it is actually BETTER than most of the other ’non-beer-beers’ out there, but this is no glowing endorsement. With a product so lacking in all the ingredients for which one drinks beer, the burning question is, ’Why bother?’
