On tap at the Hollywood California Pizza Kitchen. No Aroma, flavour, or head (after a minute). This is seaside beer... so close to water.

What’s the point? I just don’t get it. Offensive flavor and aroma, minimal mouthfeel.

24oz can, purchased at Bottle Barn. Pours a very light yellow color; white head with decent retention and patchy lacing; looks reasonably attractive at first pour. Very light, inoffensive aroma: hints of hop character, sugar, and a touch of acetaldehyde; nothing rough, harsh, astringent, or solvent, so how people can rate this a 1 for aroma is beyond me; hints of a citrus character. Light body; medium-high carbonation, non-astringent; very light body, with a minimal sugar note, hints of a graininess, and touches of mineral bitterness and an acetaldehyde / green apple character; essentially nothing here besides a very basic malt character and hints of hops, but generally clean (aside from hints of green apple), refreshing, non-astringent, and not awful, just bland. Light finish with hints of cereal malts and touches of basic sweetness; a very light corn character throughout all of this, but quietly so.

Not much of a beer-as watered down as it gets. Only positive is the availability and price.

Bottles, cans, taps. Available anywhere and everywhere.
Yuck! My least favorite of all macrobrew light beers. Hate it considerably more than Canadian Light, Coors Light, Blue Light, and most of the rest. I guess it’s better than Lakeport Light..
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 14, 2010
Can.
A - Pale light yellow. Faint white head.
S - Clean with slight cereal grain smell.
T - Some thin and light malt. Some cereal grains with sweetness.
M - Light and thin. High carbonation and crisp.
D - Easy to drink a lot of these; just like others in its style.
Notes: Similar to others in the system and in the same situation (other Macros).
1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 trevor211 (918) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 9, 2010
From a can. It pained me a little to give this swill the dignity of a glass. Pours a watery light yellow, through which I can clearly see my fingerprints. Decent head, but it doesn’t last longer than about 10 seconds. Smells like tinny citrus. Maybe some unripe banana. Tastes like... nothing. Absolutely nothing. I’m pretty sure something went in my mouth, but it sure didn’t grab my attention (that’s what she said). What might otherwise be mistaken for smoothness is actually a complete lack of character whatsoever. After a while, it starts tasting like a piece of baseball card bubble gum that you’ve had in your mouth since Nolan Ryan was throwing no-hitters. Cardboard, aluminum, and Elmer’s glue. This really is horrific.
