Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

Iím reviewing this beer only because Iím tired of my husband asking me if I reviewed a Bud Light yet. Yes I have. And itís terrible. An aroma of aluminum and rice, The body a dark lemon yellow, extra fizzy and topped with a blinding white head. Taste mirrors the aromaÖ Over carbonated, over processed, under considered.

Wife brought me back a super sized can from Boston. Let me make one quick point about the people below. Anyone who rates this beer has to consider itís a light beer. Would you review a Camry and say it is much uglier than a ferrari and far too slow? No....because itís about the market it is aimed at. Bud light is a mainstream lager made for general consumption. It is designed for the more health concious yet ignorant consumer who will grab it in multipacks in the local supermarket. Anyway back to the beer. To me it is very much Budweiser but slightly more watery, yet with a crisper taste. Beer settles quick and has no head. It smells like Bud and has the same corn and rice edge to it...to me Bud smacks of rice but most yanks never mention it. The fact that it is clean and crisp and just 4.2% means it can be sessioned more than the average American beer. If you have to compare it to rivals it also comes out better than most light beers(aside from Miller). Indeed compared to Heineken light it is streets ahead. Overall given it is a light beer I still think it is not too shabby.

As John Oliver said, "If a nickel could urinate, it would taste like a Bud Light"

Very watery/light golden in color. Not very strong in flavor. Would not recommend this beer.

"It tastes like the flat soda a homeless man uses to wash off birds. If water could just go bad this is what it would taste like."

Hell why not rate it.. Pale yellow with a diminishing white head. Minimal aroma. Sweet. Grain, corn, sugar. Minimal taste. Again, grain, corn, sugar. Watery all around. Inoffensive at least.

Bottle in the hotel lobby, RBWG í15, night 2 - 20/02/15. This beer was commandeered from the Hodor stalker in the lobby who sat with us for nearly 2 hours until Hodor appeared upon which he shot his load. Clear pale golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is cereal, straw, light citric, paper. Taste comprises paper, grain husk, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pap pale lager but without any boost - wat ?
