Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

Transfer from BA review on 4-23-12 - Poured from can into pint glass Appearance – It pours a light golden color with tons of bubbles seen streaming through the brew. There is a two finger white head formed upon pouring the fades quite fast to give very little lacing. Smell – Some corn and some metallic aromas are the most pertinent. These are mixed with a very light caramel aroma. Taste – Light corn with a very light caramel taste sum up the whole taste experience for the most part. There really is not too much else going on. Mouthfeel – Very thin and a medium level of carbonation. For the lightness of the brew a bit more carbonation would be called for as it would hidden some of the flavor and given a more tantalizing mouthfeel. Overall – Not really what I would call a good beer. It’s not all the refreshing as many “light beers” could be considered and would not be something I would look for after a long hot day or a long run in the sun. Low cal – yes, but beyond that not much else.

Can’t really call it a beer and hard to believe anyone with a choice would drink this stuff. Unfortunately it’s the only thing in this guy’s frig and I’m too cheap to pour it out and drink water. Wait I’ll drink the water. Wow, this is like the number 1 selling beer in America.....very sad.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2014 Pours a nearly clear golden color. A slightly sweet flavor and aroma. Pretty bland.

The most sold beer in the world. I don’t know why. Watery, overly carbonated, and not enjoyable to drink.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small, short lived white head. Aroma is corn and light malt. Sweet flavour of malt and corn with a mildly dry finish. Light body with watery texture and soft carbonation. Not very good but I have had worse.

Why does this have to exist, I guess it does may all other beers that much better. Taste like water all the way through, then finishes with a piss skunk tastes in the end. Horrible Horrible Horrible.

On tap and free after a 10k run. Doesn’t smell or taste like much other than generic grain and rice. Super clean. Goes out of its way to stay in the background. Decent enough thirst quencher after a race though.

On tap at Cactus Jacks. Golden, pale, clear, fizzy and yellow. Crisp with light bitterness and light sweetness. Not awful.

Only thing good about this headache maker is the crystal clear appearance. Grain rice bubbly water is what it taste like. I’d give peligrino a better score.
