Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color with a small fast disappearing white head. Sweetish corny aroma with some malty hints. Sweetish grainy corn flavor. Has a sweetish corny finish with some grainy hints.

Pale yellow beer - I am excited. Aroma of corn-malts. Very clean flavor - watery of course - but without big faults. Main flavor is corn, a bit sweet in the finish. Quite like many so called tropical lagers.

Just when you thought a beer couldn’t get any worse than bud, there’s bud light waiting to prove you wrong. even the limited crispness you find in bud is absent here. there’s nothing remotely pleasant about this ’beer.’

Can. (4.1% ABV) As Sigmund said some days ago, this one is unfortunately now imported into Norway. I have to try the beers I find, but I wish I could find something more interesting than a pale lager when a new beer is imported. Anyhow, it pours a little pale golden, fizzy body with a decent white head that diminshes rather quickly. The nose is rather fruity, but in an artificial candy-like manner, and traces of cooked rice. The flavor has the same fruit-candy, artificial twist, and it ends in the same manner. There is something there reminiscent of hops, but they hid it very well. It feels like sweetened water in the mouth, leaving you with a feeling of having wet, cheap cardboard in your mouth. There is a little trace of pear in the beer, bur there’s not much trace of beer. Drainpour! Not even suited as a thirst-quencher. (070612)

pours a decent white head, plenty of carbonation, not much taste. Best when served too cold.

Light Bud....did not know that was possible but it was. Served so cold that I really could not taste anything what so ever. So actually not horrible...just...weak, weaker, weakest, the very weakest and then comes: Bud light

Pale golden with a small white head. Clean and very weak malty aroma. Dry and thin malty flavour with a hint of banana. Harmless and boring
