Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

The hard fact is that all light beers taste like corn, white bread, and water. Bud Light is the flagship of this style, and feels entitled to charge more for brand recognition. A 30-pack brick of Bud Light cans will run about $18.99-24.99 compared to other brands that run about $12.99-17.99 for the same pack of swill. This is grossly overpriced for what it is, and it saddens me that the money they spend on terrible superbowl ads could be used to actually make a GOOD beer. But instead they settle for making overpriced bread-flavored water that can get you drunk if you drink 3-6 servings of it.

Can on a plane. US brewed. As far as it goes, pretty drinkable. Not that I managed it all. Ok. Better than the original Budweiser.

Pours a clear, pale golden straw color with visible carbonation and a one finger, frothy white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Streaks of soapy lacing left behind. Bland aroma with a subtle crisp hop presence along with grass, straw, pale malt grain and corn. The adjuncts aren’t as offensive as others in the style, light or otherwise. Still pretty bland/boring. Light body with a crisp hop presence that is immediately countered by an unpleasant, lingering metallic adjunct character. Some crisp, grassy hop flavor but it’s killed off by hints of metal, corn and rice. The adjuncts realy overpower what could be a decent tasting light lager. The pale malts and hops are obliterated by the offensive lingering flavors.

Can from Jackson’s dent bin. Can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet. Clear pale golden, small white airy head, tons of bubbles. Aroma is a bit musty, funky, but mostly cereal grains. Taste isn’t bad, its just not there. Nothing, Nada, zip. Body is watery and zero finish.

Bottle in Hakasan, Las Vegas, 9th November 15. Wow this is a poor drink. Probably one of the worst flavorless beers i have had - muck, not worth having more than a few sips

Brilliant straw color. 1 finger head lasting a minute. Bitter flavors of corn and slightly sugary. Almost no taste. Light body with excessive carbonation. No personality. Overall : Fresh dirty water.
