COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introduced nationally in 1982, Bud Light is brewed with a malt and hops ratio different from Budweiser for a distinctively crisp taste with fewer calories.

Draft in a 22oz glass. Crystal clear pale yellow with about an inch size white head. Aroma...almost non existent, maybe maize, uncooked rice. Taste is kinda the same but as if it were water. But hey, it’s got drinkability on a 95 degree Texas night I guess.

’UK’ version, although its actually brewed by Guinness in Ireland not by InBev in ’anonymous UK location’ like UK Bud is now. I like it. It tastes like Budweiser used to taste before it started to taste like nasty sweet tinny corn. Yes, there isn’t much to this beer. I bought 18 at tesco, I poured one into a glass. It smells very soapy and not much beery. The taste is clean though, light, just as you would expect, malty and ricey, as you’d expect. This is an ’idle drinking lots of it while doing not a lot’ beer. Tastes better from the long neck 330ml bottle it comes in (not the crappy stubby 300ml bottles UK bud comes in now).

330ml bottle - UK 3.8% version - enough of all the beer snobbery on this one. It is no better or worse than the many imitators on the global market. Yes, it looks like Sunday morning piss, it tastes sweet and fizzy, but so do so many other Pale Lagers. It tastes a bit plastic, but that is all. Out of 828 ratings, this is in my top 800.

$1 draft at McFadden’s NYC, with an all star cast including Gurney, Dawid, Slippers and the Governator. Very very light colour. Utterly tasteless, or is it? Is that a hint of rice? Maybe, maybe not. Amazingly I’ve had worse as this was so bland as to be elatively inoffensive.

Very thin and mild, bordering on watery. Fairly clean with light hops. It was very cheap while I was travelling through California though.

24 fl oz tall can into a pint glass. Served as cold as I could get it without freezing it. Aroma: Sweet malts/cereals. Not horrible, honestly. Not pleasing though. Appearance: Completely transparent super pale yellow. More clear than yellow it is so pale. Absolutely no head, even with an aggressive pour. Taste: Ever so slight hint of beer flavor. Palate: You can definitely feel some strange, fizzy, watery substance in your mouth. Overall: Man I wanted to give Bud Light a fair shake. This guy has absolutely no flavor though. I mean, if that’s what they were aiming for--a completely flavor-neutral beer--then AB knocked this one out of the park. Not horrible tasting, but not tasting-tasting. Extra overall points for not being foul.

I loved this beer in high school and the beginning of college. It’s nice on a hot day on the golf course when you don’t have any other choice. Makes me pee a lot.

Why?? I didn't pay for it so had to choke it down. It'll be a great day when piss like this is not "brewed" anymore
