kujo9 (1044), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA Nov 7, 2003 Let me preface this by saying I've just finished samples of Double Bastard and S.N. Celebration ale: Piss yellow with large quicly dissipating white bubbles. Fizzy carbonation. Typical green apple acetaldehyde aroma from AB with a very, very, very, light grainy malt, otherwise clean. Flavor wise, I can honestly say, after drinking DB and SNCA, this tastes like soda water upon the first sip. 2nd & 3rd sips are not much more flavorful. Very thin malt, but well balanced, but water usually is. Highly carbonated and prickly on the tongue. Not impressive and I'm only drinking this because a guy put it in front of me here at work!
jjuf1853 (257), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jan 7, 2009 Can pours a clear, pale yellow color with a thin white head. Minimal lacing. Faint aroma of grain and hops. Very bland flavor. Easy to drink, but not much else going on here. Piggy (27), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 7, 2009 Very pale yellow in color, small white thin lacing head. Aroma is smell o wheat. Taste like watered down alcohol. This beer is a beer if you nothing better to drink. imnotofage1991 (7), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA does not count Jan 6, 2009 it gets a one only because its not keystone...the only reason people drink it is because of the commercials and its cheap.
