33cl bottle, about 1.50€, 7.6% as "Premier Select"
Dark gold beer, intense colour, small white head. Nose of saaz.
Aroma has good amount of pilsner malts, quite spicy and peppery, and a decent hops folding. Becomes "woody" and "rresiny" as it warms up. Alcohol is noticeable.
Taste initially sweetish, then an intense hoppy bitterness.
On palate is quite thick, oily texture, moderate carbonation, medium to full body, sticky lips.
Label says it’s bottled after 200 days of maturation, seems "aged" indeed. Strong pilsener, lacking of exceptional features as well as flaws.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av hö och gräs med en hint av citron, antydan av alkohol. Alkoholsötma, bra beska och en torr munkänsla. Mycket bra för en ljus lager med hög alkoholhalt.

Bottle. Barva: sytě zlatá, pěna bílá, řídká. Vůně: sladová, příjemná. Chuť: silné plné pivo, sladký nástup následovaný výrazným chmelově hořkým dozvukem na patře.

Bottle from Co-op Inverness (Green bottle)
Light golden..clear...bit of a frothy head that dissipates to thin layer
Aroma - strong skunk aroma that dissipated somewhat after a minute...light spicy lager hops...cereal malts
Taste - spicy lager hops....light sweet caramel...bit of light honey...lots of alcohol...not much going on
Palate - soft carb...medium body..oily quite viscous texture. Finish - dry...sweet pale malts...alcohol has a drying affect on the palate
Overall - Not impressed with this....it’s a lot better than Special Brew though

Bottle - pours golden with a thin white head. Light grass and pine aroma, the smell from the bottle was of those JIFF lemon squeezy things. Sweetness up front then a short citrus/pine hit, then on to a dry malt finish. Well balanced beer given the strength.

Bottle (330ml) reviewed @ home:
Very sweet & sugary on the nose initially, with some sweet malts sneaking in after this. There is a hint of grassy hops & a little grain.
Light amber & topped with a pinky sized, bubbly white head that disappears to leave a patchy, soapy lacing after about twenty seconds.
Like the nose the taste is also very sweet but not in an overpowering sense & this manages to hide the alcohol content well. The hops are faint & hard to detect but the sweet malt favour isn’t, nor is the sugar.
Medium mouthfeel & quite a bit of carbonation, the beer is smooth, crisp & a little dry right at the end. It also has a bit of a kick to it.

I simply enjoyed the beer for what it was, a good quality strong pilsener lager that I would happily purchase again.

Bottle. Golden body, small head. Good malty aroma with an inevitable (at that strenght) hint of some booze. First sip: surprisingly smooth palate with no harsh alcohol kick that I’m quite used to finding in local strong pale lagers. Good saaz hoppy taste with plenty of malt and some honey sweetness. Similar to their regular pilsner, only stronger and more refined.

Bottle 330ml. Nice malt-driven lager, with good hop back-up. Aromas of caramel, honey, butter, and hints of grass. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a thin head.

330ml bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a white head that dies away quickly, never to return. The aroma is of alcohol primarily with some barley and grassy Saaz hops. Tastes quite boozy with caramel, grassy hops, corn and more corn. I’ve certainly had worse beers of this style but better also, i.e. Avery Brown Dredge.

330ml bottle. A little disappointing as it lacked any real punch given the reasonably high ABV. Clean and clear in the glass with an even layer of white foam that settles quickly. Bright golden amber in colour with cereal grains in the nose and a typical pilsener perfumey aroma. Musky flavour that leaves a dryness on the palate.
