Pale yellow colour, minimum head. Light hoppy aroma after bottle was opened and almost no aroma from glass. Very light malty taste with low bitterness in finish. Watery body and quite fizzy. Not so bad, but overall very weak NA beer, especially considering its relatively high price.

Fľaša 0,5 l z Tesca. Svetlá slamová farba, aróma pre mňa nepríjemne kvasnicová, pena biela jemná, ale drží a krúžkuje. Chuť vodová, slabo sladová, jemne horká, kvasnicová.

Aromat słodowy z bardzo wyraźnym chmielem. W smaku gorzej Wyczuwalne nuty bezalkoholowego piwa plus słód. Spora goryczka, ale niezbyt szlachetna. Dość długa. Po ogrzaniu nuty chmielu się ulotniły i pozostał tylko słód i nuty bezalkoholowego.

BOTTLE 33 CL, BB JUNE-2015. The well-known unfermented wort aroma is there, with notes of freshly boiled hops. Hopefully, a fresher bottle would have had some proper hop aromas. The flavour is quite dry, unfermented wort and a touch of fruitiness here and there. Unusually bitter - the bitterness masks out some of the very thin body, but cannot do nothing about the raw beer flavour. At least. no tomatoes - thank you very much. Sucks, but drinkable.

0,5l fles B:free meegebracht uit duitsland. Goudgeel met een witte kraag. Geur en smaak vol mout met een beetje gras en een fris bittertje in de afdronk. Zeker herkenbaar als alcohol armbier, maar wel aangenaam. Mooi volle afdronk.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2015 Low alcohol edition of the famous namesake Bohemian Pilsener, tasted as "Budweiser Budvar B: Free". Very sticky, snow white, regularly structured, medium head with good lacing and long-lasting retention, colour deep golden blonde, a tad darker than expected, cristal clear with strong fizz. Aroma initially dominated by the ’lightstruck effect’ (cat pee) but fortunately this fades away quickly, after which a soft, sweetish smell of biscuit, toasted bread, popcorn (though no actual corn is used here), old cookies, faint grassy hops and a hint of iron appears; the taste is relatively clean and crisp but neutral, minerally, with a somewhat oily mouthfeel and medium carbonation, explicitly metallic and sourishly grainy like any cheap mass produced lager, thin and watery, but with a herbal and even somewhat spicy hop bitterness in the finish, ending dry and longer than usual for the style; something chemical lingers too. Not the worst low alcohol beer I had so far, but nothing compared to its renowned grandfather, of course.
