Another typical Czech pilsener, hoppy,with bitter finish. This time it was a bit too lightweight for my liking, and with way too much carbo. Very drinkable still.

Clear medium to dark yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, malt, pale malt, light hoppy, fruity, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, flowers - meadow, fruity, thin, malt. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Hazy copper/golden colored pour. Small white head that quickly falls and leaves no signs of lacing. Smell is malty with a faint aroma of caramel. Taste is pretty much the same, not so much caramel though, and a slight bitterness. Nice beer.

Barva: světle zlatá. Pěna bílá, řídká, nedržící. Vůně: nevýrazná, sladová. Chuť: řídké nevýrazné pivo, spiše sladší, jen mírně hořký dozvuk.

Bottle @ FOneFan. clear golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and a little hop. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, fruit, hops, clean, little citrus and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours clear pale yellow with a egg white head. Grain and grass. A bit of bread. Medium bodied. Clean and simple. Short dry finish.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Golden with a small white head. Clean malty aroma of bread crust, with a touch of grassy/herbal hops. Dry and malty flavour with mild herbal hops. A bit thin in the finish

Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head that leaves almost no trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet and slightly stale with butterscotch and grass. Taste is malty, bread and butterscotch. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Finish is subtle with some bread.

Had this beer some time ago, transferring data from database before Januar I was using to rate beer. As I drink this again I will add a complete review.

Good regular pilsener in finest Czech tradition. Nothing special, still enjoyable for sure.
