330ml brown bottle. Poured amber-orange with a nice white head. Light hops underpin the malty aroma. Kind of earthy tasting, some toasted malts, mild hopping. Light in carbonation, medium bodied. Nice malt aftertaste.

Transparent, warm deep orange-brown at the top and flowing into a typical pils hay colour. Nice carbonation. Weak frothy head. Heavy hoppy caramel chocolate smell, raisins, like liquor bomboms. Reminds me a bit of a good stout. Good balace of water and bitterness and, surprisingly, refreshing. Bit too light after so much on the nose. That chocolate again but now mixed with a delicious carbonation which makes it warm, almost like coke - sourwood. Woddiness, dryness.

Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 2, 2011
Originally rated January 2006. Best before date is May 2006. Pours a nice clean amber colour with a slight tanned head that leaves good lacing. Spicy nose with some aromas of roasted malt. Watery mouthfeel. The taste is not much, but some metallic aftertaste. Some bitterness in the finish. Like other Budels product, nothing fancy, nothing crazy offensive, just blah.

Amber like colour with a decent white head. Smells boiling malts, tastes the same. Bit flat and boring.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 16 July 2011) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, spicy nose with orange peel and toast. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of orange peel, toast, caramel and a mild bitterness. Medium body, quite sweet. Not really complex, but decent.

Pretty nice clear dark orange colored beer, off white head. Smell not so nice, taste average as is carbo and body. Taste, rate, forget.

I like this beer because of its taste, but I really regret it is a bit watery. It could be much better if the taste and smell were a bit stronger. But anyway it is a nice beer to drink, very mild with a bit of sweetness.

Countbeer (1944) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2010
Bottle: Off white foamy head. Clear dark orange color. Smell is a mix of spices, malts, medicine, water and hint of fruit. Taste is pretty light and changes slightly into more malty with hints of spices. Soft hint of fruit.
