UPDATED: MAR 19, 2013 First rated 14.10.2011, second 10/14/2011 Total Score: 35. Tap. Dark brown with a nice thin rocky head. Aroma belgian hops laced with sugar and oranges. Feels like a belgian ale. Not Bad.

This wasn’t really nice. After La CHouffe Bok I expected a better bock beer now. But still not sweet enough. It smelled a little sweet (a little raisin). But it tasted really bitter. The color is darkbrown and the head staid really small.
This bockbeer also didn’t impress me. (next week i will still have 8 more to go. So I’ll hope there will be better ones!

The head is medium, the body is brown. It smells sugary-bitter, malty. The taste is malty, aromatic a bit alcoholic, bitter. Medium. 11/9/8/9/10/9

Bottle. Very dark brown with a tanned head. Earthy aroma, full put malts, cookies, some cinnamon and other spices. Very full flavored, rich malty sweetness, some alcoholic touches but again very spiced and easy to drink. Medium bodied, medium carbo. Very decent.

Mahogany color with creamy head, clear. Light caramel aroma, good caramel flavor with a nutty edge, light sweetness, bottom-fermentation fruitiness.
Clean, pleasant.

On tap @ PINT Bokbier Fest 2012. This used to be one of my favorite bockbeers. Clear deep red-brown color. Dense off white head. Aroma’s: Sweet malts, roasted, caramel, some cooked vegetables, laurel/drop. Flavor is light sweet, roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted and medium bitter. Still not bad.

30 cl. bottle @ Home, bought @ Mitra. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with some licorice. Roasted almost smoky malts in the taste and a nice bitterness. Aftertaste is also pleasantly bitter. Good bock,

Dark red brown, nice beige head. Dry and bitter bock, with licorice, cloves and some black fruit. Ok body and carbo.

Bottle from Mitra Utrecht. Clear brown colour, tan head. Nose is caramel, bit of sweet malts, bread. Flavour is sweet malted, grainy, some fruits. Finish is dry, grainy.

Karmelowy słód, prawie bez chmielu, zarówno w smaku jak i aromacie. Piana dość wytrzymała ale słaba, nie za wielka. Zdecydowanie słodowe
