Abbey beer, ruby colour, top-fermentation beer, outstanding owing to its soft flavour and fantastic aroma. This beer’s name comes from the French Capuchins, who had a monastery in Budel at the beginning of the last century.

TET (2679) - Kaarina, FINLAND - APR 18, 2008
Brown beer with thin beige head. Flakes of yeast is not very temptating. Aroma is very sweet: mallts and sugar. Flavour is not aroma-like but sweetness is appropriate, roasted and rather bitter. Surprisingly watery to drink because sugary aroma and flavour normally makes body to more dence. Changes better when beer is warmer. This is too typical beer without anything personal.

Bought in a 6 bottle mixed gift pack: Poured a dark copper with a medium off white head that faded to a thin cap. Sugar-ish malt flavour with a raisin-alc. finish. Not bad.
