clear dark brown big beige head. dark bready aroma with toffee, chocolate, yeast and roast. doughy malt with tart fruit and cherry flavours. sweet chocolate and roast. finish thins a little. not bad.

Aug 13, 2008 On tap @ Arendsnest. Ruby brown beer, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, soft roasted malts. Flavour is soft, sweet caramel, roasted malts and some dark fruits, dry finish. Nice Dubbel.

Jul 22, 2008 Good brown redish body, with scarce withe head, great aroma mixture of roasted malts, the taste is gently bitter wit a pleased end of caramel and alcohol, a good example of Duthc ales.

Jul 12, 2008 Tea-coloured orange amber, thin beige head with poor retention. sweet caramel, slightly boozy aroma. Flavour is strongly of marzipan, kiersch, and caramel. Very sweet, slightly yeasty. Fairly short, dry finish, mouthfeel is surprisingly thin.
