yngwie (9177) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2011
Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick, almost off-white head. Hints of sewer on the nose, and a quite weak scent of banana fruityness and yeast, and also a touch of spices. Medium body, quite effervescent, with flavors of grains and fruityness. Well, what can I say, it’s not all bad here, but it sure isn’t all clean either. 110311

Thanks bierkoning! Hazy yellow color, decent white head, lace. Toffeish, wheaty-banana aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffee, banana, harsh flavors. A bit off (cellared it too long).

Grima (1572) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - APR 30, 2011
The beer in the glass is dark golden yellow, slightly hazy, with little foam. Yeasty-banana smell, very sweet. Starts very banana-sweet, with strong yeast-notes. In the background, it is a little spicy and hoppy. The aftertaste is spicy-sweet, again with a lot of banana aromas and slightly hoppy. Later in the beer is slightly hopped, the sweetness goes back a little, the banana flavor always remains dominant.

Countbeer (1944) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2010 Bottle: Big white airy head on top of a clear very light yellow beer. Not much smell: some wheat, fruit, mealy and a slight hint of light vanilla. Taste is a sweet mix of fruit and wheat, with hints of malts, spices, light bitter. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, mid body. Prretty well balanced, but a bit of a strange light malty aftertaste.
