2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, 6%. Fruity, vinous aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head, slightly sparkling. The flavour starts off a little fruity and chalky. Drying out a little towards the end. Nice enough, but not too flavourful considering its ABV.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle, from bierkoning) Clear, golden colour with a short foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly toasted malt aroma, bready with a tinge of honey and herbs. Initially medium-sweet malty, bready taste, medium bodied with a crispy carbonation; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish. Not perfectly balanced.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2007 Dry not as good as the day of Kloshes in Koln but if I could get this locally I would revisit. Had this on my trip to the Netherlands. Page 88 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 447 beers for me to go to complete the book.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: FEB 21, 2007 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of stale boiled vegetables that slowly fades to grass as the beer warms. Sweet with clean, hard moutfeel wit notes of metal, butter and paper. Lightly salty finish with vague bitterness. Could sadly have been mistaken for a Grolsch, at least before it warms up and reveals some grassy hops.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (greetings from bierkoning): Clear, golden coloured, quickly vanishing foamy layer; grainy-bready nose with a light alcoholic touch; moderate sweet, slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied, but empty MF ; a bit of alcohol in the sweet-grainy finish. Not a really necessary brew...........
