2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DougShoemaker (3149) - Toronto, - DEC 5, 2004
Fruity malt aroma, pale yellow, tiny head. Nice hoppy flavour, pleasantly bitter, a good beer, just doesn’t seem like a Belgian.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Countbeer (1944) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle:
Medium to slightly bigger airy and lively white head, disappears quick and leaves some bubbles on top of a clear yellow colored beer.
Smell hops, grains, stngy, hay, light peach, light citrus,
Taste is a bit sweeter than expected: hops, hop fruits, some hops bitterness, light barley malt and yeasty touch and a hint of grains. A nice gentle hop fruity touch.
Nice hop bitter hop fruity and grainy aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft light spicy mouthfeel, meium body and a creamy texture.
Guess fresh from the tap this is even better.

Not a special beer. The taste is sweet with hints of honey, toast and malts. It is easy to drink, but there is almost no after taste. I am not going to drink it again.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 2, 2011
Originally rated January 2006 (under the name Parel). This one is definitely better than their Pils. Pours a pale yellow colour with a nice little white head. The lacing is superb and retention is good. Small transparent flakes are also seen throughout the brew. Hoppy Saaz smell is present, just like a pilsner. Medium-thin mouthfeel that finishes dry. Grainy flavour with a light bitterness from the hop, lingering into the back of the aftertaste. Then, some apples appear. Not really a Belgian ale, but a real good brew (that taste like a stronger pils).

Clear golden colour, medium white head. Not much to tell, pretty average. Malty smell and taste, average to low carbo and body.
