Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; malty, toasted nose with a touch of coriander - even though it is not stated on the label - and a subtle fruitiness in the back; moderate to stronger sweet flavour with a light bitterness, medium bodied; bitterness increases towards the short-nutty finish. A warming, not too exciting brew..........

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a copper color with a small white head and a flowery, spicey and alcoholic aroma. The taste is very sweet and alcoholic with a sour note in the end. No real finish. I didn’t really like this, but I guess it is too much of a winter warmer for a springday like today

Dark bronze with a little yeast still floating around. Small lacy head. Nose is malty with sweet pearjuice (smurffilimsa, anyone?) and a bit spiciness. Flavor has sweet caramel malts, same pears and some warming spices. Finishes drier with soft bitterness. Mouthfeel almost full bodied with strong and creamy carbonation. Pears don’t seem that wintery to me?

(33cl bottle) Clear, amber colour with a short, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, sweet toast-malty, nutty nose. Sweet and a bit sugary flavour, medium body impression with a soft carbonation. Soft cara-malty and nutty taste; sweet and faint bitter, spicy finish. Not overly spectacular and a tad too sweet.
