Bov (4558), Bienne, Switzerland May 5, 2008 from crackedkettle.com - cloudy lactic-orange colour with almost no foam; robust aroma of coriander and orange peel; notes of ripe bananas; very sweet with some tart acidity; medium-bodied; the finish is corny and spicy, moderately long with more notes of orange peels
TrefwoordPunk (356), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 2, 2008 Bottle 33 cl, had this organic belgian white from my Limburgs Land glass. Pours a cloudy light orange with a small white head and a sweet-sour aroma. The taste starts sour and gets more creamy with some coriander (like every belgian white, can’t they come up with something new?). The finish is a bit spicy with a hint of orange. Just a standard white, nothing out of the ordinary. JorisPPattyn (4246), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 24, 2008 Very good, fine & dense white head over fully hazy pineapplejuice-like beer. Perfumey nose, some childrens’ sweets flavouring-like; citrus & citruspeel, coriander more than probable. Sweet-sour, obvious coriander. Spicy taste threatens a moment to dominate, but then retreating in favour of a drier balance & finish. Wheat slickness, light to medium bodied. Unobtrusive, inoffensive and unremarkable witbier. Bart (1214), Vosselaar, Belgium Mar 13, 2008 Hazy darker yellow coloured beer with some average carbonation and a ferm white head. Fruity lemon, spicy (clear coriander touches) and little wheat aroma. Full palate; Finish is sweet, very little bitter, some light coriander wheat aftertaste. Easy drinkable. Not bad. MiP (4744), Flensburg, Germany Feb 13, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Sweet flavour. Actually too, sweet. Quite sugary. Drinkable.
