Claiming to be a ’unique blend’, this is from the Budgens ’Our Kitchen’ range, which here clearly means ’somebody else’s kitchen’. Having said that, this is quite a pleasant supermarket cider with a decent apple aroma and a sweet, slightly sticky taste and some sourness. Goes down quite well when the fizz has died down a bit. I used the rest of the bottle to cook pork medallions with mushrooms, ginger and cloves, which was extremely good. For the record the bottle was ’Vintage 2007’.
