mribm (419), Hurley, New York, USA Feb 5, 2009 Delicious beer from start to finish! A great session beer, however it could have been a little hoppier for my taste. It reminded me a lot of Sam Adams Boston Lager only better! I hope in the future that they will produce something with more hops. This makes an excellent session beer for me and the price is reasonable ($5.49 a six pack). zombywoof (355), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Feb 3, 2009 Updated: Feb 4, 2009Faint caramel aroma. Watery and light. Goes flat quickly and has a stale finish. Meh. Birdiebeagle (779), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 2, 2009 Draft Pours a nice reddish amber with a tan head. Aroma of carmel and citrus. Has good carbination and nice mouthfeel. A very decent tasting beer. I was quite shocked with this coming from Budweiser. Not bad at all shotgun1431 (92), franklin furnace, Ohio, USA Feb 1, 2009 Nice aroma of malt. Amber with a big tan head. Not complex. not very complex but I would have to say a better brew than the other bud product. Pretty good. barleynhops (82), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Jan 31, 2009 Draught: reddish amber in color with a medium tan head. Smells of a citrisy, bread, and hops. Tastes of hops and blended malts, leaves the palate wanting more. Not a bad brew from Bud and could be a session brew! milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jan 30, 2009 Still has some corny notes to it, but I was suprised that it does have some nice hoppiness. Easy to drink, sweet and slightly fruity with the hops in there. Overall its not bad, but it does taste like budweiser on hops.
MONZA (17), Kansas, USA Jan 28, 2009 Served in pint glass on tap. I dont know what they are proud of on this one. I dont taste any "robust flavor" and the dry-hopping is weak at best. The only thing I liked about it is the color, which is surprisingly beautiful for a macro. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery. ever so slight hop bitterness. Not very malty. For an "Amber Ale" this one will never find a home in my fridge. I would rather drink PBR cking (1012), North Canton, Ohio, USA Jan 27, 2009 Scored a two buck bomber which was great since I really never wanted to buy an entire six pack. Decent beer with some good aspects and some lacking qualities as well. Rich amber~copper color, long lasting 1/2" head and spotty lacing around the glass. Caramel and toffee notes followed by a mild floral hop aroma...and I do mean mild. Nice medium malt body that is well balanced and fairly calm. Toasted malt and honey roasted nut flavor that leads to some light banana fruitiness. Hops aren’t too forward in the flavor, in fact the malt seems to dominate. Could easily use some additional Cascade hops in the aroma and flavor.
