Nice crystal clear amber color. Good carbonation and light-medium bodied. Hints of a barley nose. Flavor is mild caramel with the hops balancing. Slight bitter finish. Better than most A-B brews. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Smiley’s Beverage Dover, NH.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. Ruby-amber color with a light tan head. A mostly noble hop aroma. Malty flavor with spice and grass that turns slightly sweet. Medium bodied. Some creaminess. Malt lingers with a light fruitiness and spice. fidelis83 (712), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Pours bright red copper with a medium off white head that has poor retention. Aroma is caramel, pine and spice hops, and a tart kiwi like fruitiness. Flavor is basically a repeat of the aroma with a slight metallic tinge. Finish is slightly bitter and a little corny. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 31, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Clear amber with a small off white head. Slight bready malts in the aroma with a hint of piney hops. Flavor is very unbalanced. Very bitter, not good bitter, with pretty much zero malts to balance things out. Could be the bottle, it has been sitting around forever. One thing it does have is that funky Bud flavor that I hate. Who knows. Bad bottle, good bottle? I havent a clue. kidrobot (63), Sparta, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Tasted alot better then I expected. Actually had a flavor and you could taste hops... not like the usual rice they make it with. Paul150 (37), , Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 30, 2008 On tap. Had an amber color with little head. Very malty aroma. Taste was malty with a slight bit of hops. Very thin mouthfeel for an ale, but impressive for and AB product. I would order it if I had nothing else though I will not go out of my way to drink it a lot.
