Amber pour with a small white head. A touch of hops in the nose, but mostly sweet malt. Flavor is not bad, sweet and malty with a lightly bitter hop finish. Not a bad effort from A-B, but not so great compared to your average craft brew.

Bottle, pours cloudy with a white head. Some hops aroma, a bit of citrus hops and light malts. Probably the best brew from buttweiser, which is not saying much but in Oklahoma I can get it at the store after 9pm so its the best I can do late.

So I finally caved and had one of these at a Bulls game. Pours amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is light, a little malt. Flavor is okay, little malt, but relatively thin. I think my first amber I brewed from an extraction kit was better though...sadly.

Served on draft in a pint glass. Light amber in color with a healthy, dense, ecru head. Even leaves some lacing. Aroma is light but at least you can tell there are hops in there. Light citrus and lightly sweet caramel malt. Flavor is less than robust but it‘s well balanced. Trademark cascade citrus with a toasted maltiness and a bit of metallic character. I much prefer this to some of the saccharine crystal malt bombs that you sometimes find in this style. Thin bodied, no real bitterness or aftertaste, easy to drink. Not bad but it‘s still Bud.

I think this one gets lower ratings because of the crown on the bottle cap. Pours a GORGEOUS deep mahogany/honey hue with a thick cream colored head. Aromas of typical hops, but with extra malt and a hint of flowers. Tastes MUCH better than the typical Bud line-up with notes of caramel but in true American style. Not bad!

Clear amber, creamy off white head. Nose held soft notes of citrus and baked toffee brittle from start to finish. Drying metallic citrus flavor rides touches of toasty caramel throughout. Well balanced for sure. Light bodied and thin, moderate carbonation, lightly bittersweet finish. Not awful by any means. I bet in a blind taste test, this would probably score a touch higher than the average here…

I give slack to macro brewers who attempt to innovate at all. This is an enjoyable beer in its own right. The aroma is a a malty, caramel smell. The appearance is a nice ruby color, thin white head. The flavor is sweet, caramel, toffee, malty. Medium mouthfeel. The finish is a mild hop flavor, fairly clean. Good beer overall, especially for a macrobrew. I must give the devil their due; Budweiser did alright with this. I would at least consider this on a part with Bass Ale.
