Bottle. I too had hope for this beer and did not want to discount it immediately because it is made by Budweiser. Poured an translucent amber color with almost no aroma. Taste reminds me of Gak. I’d say a pretty big letdown.

Bottle. As much as I despise most macros, I had some hope of a drinkable beer from the description. Not so. Thin, watery, and lifeless. Weak aroma of malt and slight hops. The mouthfeel is so small that it is hard to truly judge the flavor. With caramel malt and cascade hops this is all they could come up with????? Try adding more malt and hops and/or using less water!!!!!!!� Only slightly better than Bud Lager.

(12 oz. bottle consumed on Election Night, Nov. 4, 2008) Served in shaker- poured transparent amber/copper, low carbonation, nice half finger head formed and laced! Aroma of malt, hard cane sugar, and hops. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, the malt is there, detect a very slight note of corn in the middle, finish is mildly hoppy. AB finally got it figured out!

Bottle from Daniel. Total rarity here. Never have I see something of this caliber. Pours out just like you have seen it all over TV. Smell is sweet and fruity, a touch of citrus and some hop flavors too. Taste is smooth and fruity, kinda sweet, little bit of hops. Not really that bad, I have had much worse. As a side note, I made a Smitty pizza using this beer, and it actually was awesome. The hint of sugar from this beer really made the dough taste better. Bonus points for pizza making ability.

clear copper color, fluffy tan head, no lacing. nose of airy hops. flavor is water with a hint of sweet malt, surprisingly no trace of hops. watery mouth-feel. oddly sweet malt finish. off-putting. not sure how this one classifies as an ’ale’ ewxcept by the most generous allowance. i appreciate that anheuser-busch, excuse me, in-bev, is only trying to compete, but a craft brewery they are not.

Pours an amber color with a medium to large sized fizzy bone colored head. Nose is caramel and toffee with some hops and metal. Tastes malty and floral and there is some sweetness on the back end as well. Its really basic and non threatening but fails to make a statement. Moderate mouthfeel and high quaff-ability.

12oz. Pours a lovely amber with a fizzy white head. Surprisingly aromatic with nice caramel and chocolate malt that makes one think toffee. Body follows with similar, but less exciting flavors. Expected high carbonation, this one finishes off-dry. Surprisingly unoffensive is a good way to characterize this beer.

Pours amber with a mostly receding tan head. Aroma of caramel, hint of piney hops, paper. Taste is cloying, sweet, lightly piney with no resins. Medium bodied, feels slightly soapy/sticky with lively carbonation. It was almost like they wanted the hints of hops without any real hops. Kind of a false caramel-color type flavor. Still, I suppose it could be worse.
