This beer pours a beautiful amber color and creamy head. Decent enough ale but not much else is notable.

Bottle from Uncle Sudsys. Mild sweet malt aroma, with a bit of neutral fruitiness and a bit of dusty hops. Nothing overpowering about any smell characteristic. Dark maple amber clear, with thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium to heavy carbonation. Starts with decent caramel malt, light alcoholic notes and a mild chemical tang. Light toasted grain and finishes with just a bit of bitterness. Fairly well balanced and definitely a couple levels above most of the standard AB line. I don’t know if I’d order this over most other micros, but I would drink this over the pale fizzies anyday.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body had a beautiful reddish, medium amber color with a small just off white colored head. The clarity is good and head fades down quickly to a very thin covering that barely hangs on. Smell: The aroma had a pleasant but mild citrus and piney hop character. Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor has a modest malt flavor with lightly toasted grain and light caramel notes. The balance leans in favor of the hops which bring mild pine and citrus notes to the mix. Hop bitterness is very mild and finishes clean. Its texture is smooth with average carbonation and it has a light to medium body, making it refreshing and highly drinkable. Notes: Overall I would say that this is about what I had expected from Budweiser although I would have liked a little more solid malt character and body.

It was a much better beer then I had originally expected. A hoppy sweet flavor, definately one of the best beers Budweiser has made.

Draft. Pours a mid-amber hue with little head and a so-so hop aroma. The cascade hops linger in this one from start to finish, a pleasant surprise. Malt tones are understated and overwhelmed by the hops. This is basically a hoppy Sam Adams Bostom Lager knockoff without the balancing of the malt. Still, it’s one of the best beers I’ve had from A-B. If you can find this beer cheap, it would be a good value for the money.

What an Amber would taste like if made by Budweiser. If only their beer could be half as good as their commercials. This one smells stanky, has very little head. It’s looks pretty but it just leaves you flat.
