NomDeBeer (398), Maryland, USA Jun 20, 2009 Decent looking beer - copper color and an off-white head. Taste is caramel and citrus hops. A liitle too sweet for the style, but its alright. presario (2953), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jun 20, 2009 Bottle. Dark amber. Minimal head. Tasty vanilla malt nose. Flavour is basic amber ale. A little sweet, thin and tinny. TipsyMcStager (900), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jun 19, 2009 I would choose this over Bud or Bud Light on tap. Making the best of a bad situation. Thin, cloying sweetness and has a off-putting tin finish. Drinkable, but don’t go out of your way. beerledgend (919), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Jun 18, 2009 Clear copper colour with thick white head. Mild hop aroma. Thin hop mouthfeel but bit oily/soapy. Looks goo and is probably the best of the Bud range. ronaldtheriot (60), Laplace, Louisiana, USA Jun 15, 2009 International Beverages (A-B) scored a home run with this one. Budweiser American Ale is hands down the best ever produced from the Budweiser line. Beautiful head in the shaker glass, and an all around pleasant drinking experience. This one is highly recommended.
RJT BDawg82 (33), Jackson, Mississippi, USA Jun 14, 2009 I am really shocked. This stuff is excellent. Hoppy flavor (it really is), beautiful dark amber appearance, agreeable sweetness, an aroma that accurately foreshadows flavor, and a clean finish that invites a return trip. A-B’s manufacturing accomplishment in this product is akin to GM making a safer car than the Swedes and Japanese reliability an antiquated novelty. Go buy a sixer and support the home team. PJClarke (610), London, Greater London, England Jun 13, 2009 Tawny with a fine film. Wet tobacco aroma. Sterilized beyond belief, tastes like a dentists tools. Nothing redeeming here. dnstone (135), , New Jersey, USA Jun 11, 2009 This beer definately trumps macro lagers. Its nice to actually taste and smell the hops in a macro.
