A: The beer pours amber in color with a khaki head that is initially a finger tall before settling down to a thin layer. S: The nose is somewhat grassy with a decent enough toffee and toasted bread aroma. There might be a little bit of caramel, too. A very, very simple nose, but pretty decent. T: Caramel, toffee, and toasted bread. There is a little bit of a fruitiness to the beer, such as pears and apples. Not really any hop character other than a touch of bitterness. M: The body is light to medium with a lively carbonation. D: Not horrible, but it’s really middle of the road and sort of bland.

Bottle and draft. Pours a garnet-amber with a soft, off-white head. Malty aroma with fruit notes. Sweet flavor with bready malts, ripe fruits and some caramel. Very mild bitterness, and fairly nondescript. Medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet and malty with understated hops. Not bad.

Bottle at Village Pub, KY. Poured a clear deep amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium sweet malty and small hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate bitter flavor with an medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Better than my expectations.

hopscotch (9082) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 2, 2008
Bottle… First Annual Treasure Coast Beer Festival 2008… Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, fizzy white head. Decent retention. Fruity, malty aroma… caramel, toffee. Medium-bodied with Champagne-like carbonation. Very well-balanced, but not a whole lot going on. Short, crisp, clean finish. A little better than expected… lacks the acetaldehyde found in their lager.

This beer looks good, but i am sorry it tastes like watered down shit. And I would NEVER choose this over a Sam Adams or anything similiar....just too watery and week. But a nice looking beer anyway.

On tap inside Sea World, San Diego. Hey, it was free. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. There is really not much I can add that 400+ other people havent already said...

Bomber, where is good till date? Pours amber with foaming head, that does leave some lacing. Mildly barleywine aroma. Some bitterness, and barley, barleywine-red cross style. Drinkable. About average mouthfeel, creamy by the foam. Above-average carbonation. Not bad for Bud.

22 oz bottle. Amber coloured beer with a very thick and persistent white head. Aroma is lightly malty and a soft chewy nutty sweetness. A very soft floral/fruity hopopy aroma on the top. A kiss of floral/fruity sweetness and a bit of light maltiness. Decent balance. It’s a bit too sweet for my tastes, but it certainly isn’t a bad beer. A light sweet nuttiness.
