I started to get excited when I inhaled the promising lightly fruity aroma then had my hopes dashed by the super thin Budweiser flavor and palate. tomthompson89 (1494), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2008 12oz bottle, thanks to Chad. I couldn’t work up the courage to get a sixer of this, and the man came through for me. Toasted amber color with a lasting creamy head. Light cascades in the aroma, with some unfermented wort/doughy aromas as well. The flavor is clean and balanced, with lightly sweet toasted malt and some modest hop bite to round it off. Not a whole lot going on in either the malt or hop department separately, and the finish is a bit thin, but the balance of the package is super drinkable. If this was the same price as regular Bud, It would be my cheap beer of choice, but at the 6.99 that it goes for around here, there are much better choices. dchmela (1476), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 26, 2009 Pours a reddish amber with a nice thick off white head. Light citrus hop and malt aroma, pleasant. Taste is malty with citrusy bitter hop flavor. The flavors are not very bold, in fact, I found it a bit generic. I think they ahd the right idea, but just didn’t go anywhere with it. GreatLibations (1470), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/20 | Sep 13, 2008 This beer really does bite. It’s amber with a shallow head. Aromas of skanky roasted citrus malt. Medium nectar with good carbonation. The flavor is twisted by a peach pit bittering component that combines citrus and boiled caramel. Hints of burnt coffee on the bitter finish. Just horrible. drowland (1447), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2009 Got this as a pre-release sample from a distributor/salesman. Pours copper with a large lingering head. The aroma is corny like a Bud beer but hoppy like a pale ale; makes me wonder if there are adjuncts. The flavor is a bit malty sweet with a dry hop sensation that is noticeable yet subtle and leaves the tongue literally feeling dry. It’s almost like a Budweiser Pale Ale or something. nqualls (1435), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a two finger tan head. Aroma of caramel and bread. Flavor was yeasty with some caramel malt character and a decent hop finish. I want to temper this by saying that this is the best Bud product I’ve consumed...but that is a statement in and of itself. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of sweet and toasted malt, tropical fruit and floral hops, all working well together. Flavor well-balanced as well with a focus on the sweet, fruity, bread and toast malt. Light bodied, but hey, it’s supposed to be. Clean, semi-dry finish. I’m proud of A-B.
