| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Clear medium amber body, small tan head. Aroma is light and malty. Flavor is moderately hoppy with a twinge of sourness; palate is weak. Overall there’s not much that stands out, but it’s smooth and unoffensive. The Bud label makes it ’approachable’ and may turn some people on to craft beer, which would be a good thing. jb (1063), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Apple/pear aroma with a super dose of right off the pot warm sweet malt!! Great nose. Classic amber color, nice lacing. Nice looking. Palate starts out sticky and malty, in the middle is effervescent with a bit of hops, then finishes dry. Very nice. ben4321 (1061), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Overall Impression: Had this on draft for the first time after I’d seen quadruple digit commercials, not bad tho, better then expected, even if they advertise it like it has to be given away.

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 1, 2009 typical bud swill. I tried this at a beerfest. That was pretty much the only way I’d give this one a go....if it was free. I will say that it looked good, it had a deep rich color and it was smooth. But I failed to taste the hops finish that it advertised.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a two finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma reminds me of Briess Special Roast Malt, a hint of caramel, and a faint touch of citrus hops in the finish. Taste is sweet slightly roasted malt with a touch of caramel and light citrus hops. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. The hint of roasted malt is beautifull in this beer but it lacks the hops to balance it out. Overall a well made brew for a good price. haddon90 (1044), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2008 Pours a clear amber color. Slim cream colored head. Basic light malt aroma, but that’s about it. Tastes a little watered down, with a hint of hops and malt. But it truly is lacking in terms of an amber ale. But for Bud? One of their better beers. gunhaver (1044), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours bright copper red, clear. Big creamy white head. Aromas fairly subdued, but some caramel and slight hoppy texture. Flavor is of some caramel, slight citrus and grassy finish. Sticky body, light and refreshing. Carbonated well. Very drinkable. Not bad at all. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Scored a two buck bomber which was great since I really never wanted to buy an entire six pack. Decent beer with some good aspects and some lacking qualities as well. Rich amber~copper color, long lasting 1/2" head and spotty lacing around the glass. Caramel and toffee notes followed by a mild floral hop aroma...and I do mean mild. Nice medium malt body that is well balanced and fairly calm. Toasted malt and honey roasted nut flavor that leads to some light banana fruitiness. Hops aren’t too forward in the flavor, in fact the malt seems to dominate. Could easily use some additional Cascade hops in the aroma and flavor.
