Tap at TOFB, pours a bright yellow, a clean and crisp lager, overall pretty refreshing better then regular bud for me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
cannette 355 ml. 6%.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Born on 28/May/13. Totally clear, kind of orange color. Thin bit of white head, few dots and short reaches of lace. Medium body. Lighter carbonation. Lightly sticky finish. Better flavor than expected... Still some corn flavor, macro-lager type taste, but a nice caramel malt and toasty aroma too. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter, a subdued bite. It’s later at night and I went for a Budweiser so that I wouldn’t be tempted to go for another subsequent beer. But this is actually not nearly as bad as expected, at least from this nonic pint glass in the peaceful comfort of my home. I opened it up figuring I’d half-ass a rate from the ~5oz I could stomach and call it a night, but I ended up finishing this whole bottle without much trouble... Maybe I’m underestimating myself.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341 ml bottle from the Beer Store. Pours a clear orange colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is toasty grains and hints of caramel. Flavour is likewise with caramel a little more prominent. Only the faintest hint of a dry finish. On the lifeless side. For Bud it’s not bad; for real beer it’s underwhelming.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber with an almost non- existent head. No aroma, but a smoothe drink and pleasant flavor v with no bitterness. If I had to drink a Budwiser product, it would be Black Crown.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
341ml brown bottle. Medium golden pour with a thin white cap. Nose is fairly clean and neutral, bit of grain and sweetness. Taste is toasty and grainy. Pliant finish with some grains and distant hop. Average mouthfeel, carbonation is pretty standard, ends dry. Overall better than normal bottles Bud. Overall ok, if I’m ever craving a lightly maltier, darker and stronger version of Bud, I’ll be sure to reach for this.
