I thought maybe I was getting something better than the mass produced Anheuser-Busch/InBev. It looked better due to it’s amber color and a little lacing. It also had more alcohol (6%) which I thought would separate it from Budweiser. It didn’t! It had that sickening Bud smell and tasted bland. Where’s the HOPS? I also hate how Anheuser-Busch takes up the majority of the space in the beer coolers in my grocery stores. They purposely load it up with their low selling beers, just so those of us who like REAL beer can’t find it. I wish the swill would go away!

It’s better than ordinary Budweiser, and has more alcohol, but still lacks flavor. The presence of visible Belgian lace is a departure from the usual A-B product. It’s potable.

I has more of an aroma than regular Budweiser, but that’s not saying much. It has a better color than regular Budweiser, but you could throw up Budweiser and the bile would give it a better color. Otherwise, it’s regular Budweiser.

Golden-beige with puffy, off-white head. Crisp hop nose, the lively cool of air somewhere between where fall and winter meet. The body is sticky caramel and beachwood. Thin and cloying. Could use more hop bitterness as this one is tastes a bit like unhopped, unfermented wort. Too much cereal not enough hop.

Perhaps Budweisers’ best brew. It is still crappy, but an acceptable level of crappy. It’s more like an amber-like lager and pairs fairly well with restaurant food.

Very little aroma. Thin orange color, fairly robust white head that thins rapidly. Tastes very sweet, almost like candy. Medium mouthfeel with adequate carbonation. Overall a pleasant if somewhat sweet but drinkable commercial beer.

Bud with the slightest craft touch. Amber hints in coloring and a little more hoppy. Overall the same with a liitle more umph.

Pours a light amber. Has a typical lager aroma like Bud. Taste is a little more distinct unlike regular bud with some amber ale elements.

From bottle...I’m guessing this is right...Batch #91406
Poured in small Duvel glass.
Big head with lace and a gold color.
Aroma of grains, rice pudding, honey, orange peel.
Modest carbonation and mouth feel.
Flavors of light malt, powder sugar, wheat grains, amber malt, light caramel, slight hops. Overall refreshing, sweet, easy drinking with minimal malt or hops. While I was less impressed with some of the others in this series and with Bud in general, this really isn’t bad for the style....maybe just the handling if the beers in this zip code series are nearly the same...or maybe it is different.
